I'd like to think of myself as pragmatic and result-oriented. I was told many times before to trust the process. To be perfectly frank, I think it's stupid. When someone says that, they have no clue of what they're saying. So they basically tell us to just work hard for the sake of working hard. They tell us to just shoot in the dark. The result becomes a matter of luck. And they wonder why they're stuck in the same place for a long time.

I was recently playing a game that I didn't like and wasn't good for me, but I was SO WRAPPED UP IN IT that I didn't realize how much stress and pain it was causing me. I was listening to your shows, trying to take to heart your messages about detaching and considering what kind of game you're playing, where you're going and how you're getting there, but what I didn't realize was I had based everything on the wrong set of assumptions. I assumed that "hustling" until I got to the point where I was making a lot of money would make me happy. It wasn't until I took a longer trip and had a FULL reset that I realized no amount of money would make me happy and finally everything clicked into place. She works her ass off, and doesn't make any money, just enough to scrape by. I smoke weed, but I don't want to smell like weed. Nobody wants to smell like weed. The market for these products is too tiny to make her successful, and 100 websites including amazon will sell you superior hemp products to her homemade stuff. She is trapped, hustling frantically, drowning in bills, and things will only get worse.
