I am in a transferable job. I lived in Delhi, Gujarat and Chennai over the last ten years and unfortunately haven’t seen clear and clean water for daily usage in any of the above mentioned places And when i went to my village and saw drinkable water directly from underground getting wasted I got emotional. I am a Delhiite. I live in south Delhi. Its true Delhi has become overpopulated now. Lots of crowd almost everywhere and huge traffic jam with many cars, cabs, taxis, autos, buses etc. Feel like festival is going on. Moreover air pollution and water pollution and Yamuna river pollution. Prices of commodities have been increased drastically. Foods prices in restaurant are too expensive. Flat rent is too high. Electricity bill is too high for tenants. Market goods prices are not fixed. Its too difficult to go outside during rush hours between 8am to 12pm and 5pm to 9pm. Situation is pathetic in Delhi. And water scarcity is almost everywhere in Delhi except gated society or premium apartments.

These conditions are also to be seen in rural areas in next 3-6 years it's guaranteed, because the number of summerseiver system is hugely increased, and wastage of water is so much, that will not fullfilled by monsoon also after few years. We ourselves must take an step toward saving water.and government should invest in implementation of rain water harvesting system as faster as they can...do it for my country (🇮🇳)

the problem is that although there are many solution to this current water problem, but no body cares about it unless situation will become irreversible. no goverment want to look into enviormnet ans water related issue because they arent their vote banks , farmers wont be doing crop rotation because currently they are getting enough water and msp , govermnet wont also stop msp or reduce subsidy becaus it will impact their vote baank, this completes full circle. no matter how mny solution we get, we are not going to implement it until it wil become a situation of DO OR DIE.

Facing water shortage here in Kolkata now as well. Govt piped water which fills our overhead tanks in apartment are not supplying enough water as a result tanks are not filling properly. It was particularly worse during peak summers . No water from 1pm to 4 pm , then again no water from 10 pm to 6:30 am next day, and the cycle repeated. Now supply has improved as heat has gone down , still not enough water is being provided that the building can have 24*. 7 supply at tap. Still 10pm to 6:30pm there would be no water at tap for washroom or anything. This problem didn't exist till 2023 . 2024 seems like a cursed year. Idk if our ferrule has blocked or what but this water problem is driving me crazy. I pay lakhs in income tax , still have to deal with these issues. Cant wait to leave this country.

I am from West Bengal, in villages where I stay there is no water crisis. But central govt made water pipeline to every home in villages. But I think 10-20% people use this pipeline water, even they need not this pipeline water. But central govt didn't provide pipeline water properly at that places where actually pipeline water is needed. I think govt should think about it where pipeline water supply actually necessary.

We in Gujarat have some of the cleanest rivers in the world that flow through a city. Just look at Sabarmati river front and you will see crystal clear water. Tapi too is undergoing the same transformation. Narmada is some what behind but still way better than rest of Indian rivers. All this when Gujarat is the manufacturing and exporting powerhouse of Bharat. Number 1 in both manufacturing and exporting. Lots kf chemical industries here but still so clean rivers. I think you should cover this story as well 😊

Sir why don't you make reports on that, that how will those things will be practically done. Even if there is a possibility then why don't you start a startup of your own based on the stats you have. There will be some sort of idea to clean these rivers and earn from it as well, and which would help make India a better place . The thing is government knows everything and does nothing, and you and me as a normal citizen can't do anything except watching this video. The things seems impractical to me this way, because there were a thousand videos on what you said prior to this and will be there after this, what is the practical implementation. If the knowledge you earned is only bounded to this youtube channel from where nothing would change because the viewers of this video have nothing in hand then what use it is??? (It would end up being just aware and with no water)

Aaj bhi mera ghar par barris ka ek boondh bhi waste nahi jata aur gutter pani ko bhi underground well mein septic tank banakar conserve kar raha hoon. Yeh pani samasya nahi hai. Yeh samasya hamara besharam freebies love gadha awam 135 crores ka bhoj hamara par hai. ram ko bhi aukat dikhane vala namak haram dharamdrohi log hai

Although the international media's are paying attention to it but our own media channels don't give a sh*t about the real cause. hmare yha log pure city ko cemented kr dete hai, ek percent jameen kacha nhi chodna chate. Govt ko hindu-muslim ki jagah water harvesting or development ke bare batana chahiye taki log aware ho na ki road pr pathar-talware lekar ghume. desh ke log janwaaro jesa behave krne lg gye

Why cant we make water treatment mandatory for industries and actually enforce this? We seriously lack ethics as a society. Not just the government but educated people will cut corners if they can get away with it. We should learn from Japan and stop cutting corners. This is our problem.
