This is possibily the most honest review of this laptop I've watched yet! I have the Zenbook Pro duo, and it's the best device I've ever had. I'm a content creator / video producer, and its so hard to work on any other device if youve used this for sometime. Gaming performance is excellent, and the main OLED screen is jaw dropping insane. Working on any Adobe app or even browsing is very different and doesnt take a lot of getting used to. I have my workspaces setup and I dont think I can ever go back to using 1 screen laptops. Thank you ASUS for this wonderful innovation. I don't know what those other reviewers are smoking. I'm looking at you Dave Lee.

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate the kind words and glad you enjoyed the honest review. I try to look at the positives of a device and how they would suit its audience. Rather than how the negatives will not even apply to those that purchase the machine. I’ve got a review coming up of the G14 Zephyrus and hopefully soon the Zephyrus Duo :)

I don't know how we're supposed to use these powerful devices on battery other than chrome or netflix etc. I mean, why would we ever wanna game or do anything heavy using battery? Lately, all the reviewer just try to pick on stuff thats plain stupid! But for them if its anything Apple, nothing can go wrong.

How is the battery life on this? On battery saver mode, 150nits brightness, how long can you watch youtube for example?

Finally someone who showed at least a bit of how Adobe Premiere can function on this device. A little more show and tell would have been nice --- are there any issues splitting the panels across 2 screens, is there a lag, etc -- but as a free consumer of youtube media one can't complain. Nicely done.

I have had the Zenbook pro duo for 3 months now and I can say that it is a total game changer, Other than my wife hating me for spending so much for it.... It is easily the best laptop out now. Period.

You’re so welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. To be 100% honest, I should have the Zephyrus Duo for a review hopefully soon. As of right now in South Africa the Zephyrus Duo is not available. So it hasn’t launched. If I’m not mistaken a lot of countries haven’t launched. I do believe it will be a great competitor, but only a review will tell that. I’ll make sure to mention a strong comparison in the review 👌

How did you put the timeline on the second monitor so that it works for you well, because I put it, and it is as if I would click outside the program and the commands with the keyboard do not work correctly. did you have to set up something premier?

Well spotted 😉 was thrown in their just to see if anyone noticed lol We screen recorded a mac sequence and transferred it to the zenbook and sneaked it into the intro just to see if someone saw 👌 As you see later in the video we use Adobe Premier. Sorry but there's no way to run FCPX on windows, I do wish there was though.

You're welcome. I haven't checked DaVinci however the second screen should definitely work. As long as DaVinci allowes you to add a second monitor or customise a display the concept is the same. And the display is 100 touch screen. So it could technically work with anything.

I have the core i9 version but When I go to plans of energy is impossible to activate de high performance mode ... I have only 2 options the low performance and (Asus recomended ) I try using power shell code but was impossible ... So I don't know if my computer doesn't works well or if this kind of computer has a different configuration...do you have the high performance option ? I am from Spain and is difficult to find information about this computer

So I had that problem as well and that was because I deleted the My Asus programs. Seems like that Program is what controlled the fan speed code for that hot key. Just install the MyASUS stuff and the screen xpert. (The stuff that may have seem like bloatware when you initially set it up)

If you use your laptop mostly at a desk, it's great. If you use a laptop a lot from bed, sitting down, this is SO uncomfortable. Be aware before buying.

I’m actually happy about the layout of the keyboard since it feels more like working on the keyboard of a desktop. I tried doing work on a regular laptop and it was uncomfortable reaching the keys. I felt like I was on top of the screen.

Unfortunately not. The Zenbook Pro Duo is destined more for creatives rather than professionals. But keep an eye out for the Zephyrus Duo review coming soon. That has an RGB keyboard.

It is 4K 60hz. Unfortunately there is no way. I think the Zephyrus Duo has a higher refresh rate. It's still coming in for review 😉
