thats now 4 different kinds of Skeleton (Skeleton, Wither Skeleton, Stray, Bogged), like how we have 4 different kinds of Zombie (Zombie, Zombie Villager, Husk, Drowned)

I wouldn’t count Zombie villagers since they aren’t biome specific- But it does even out the variant numbers. I hope someday we’ll be introduced to a Bog zombie and a Cold biome zombie lol

I really like this new mob variant because it spices up early to mid survival game at least for a bit, and since they can also spawn in swamps now people who want some extra challenge will build a home near them.

Im always glad that they add more hostile mobs. It makes sense enchantments like smite and arthropods more useful. Still not nearly as useful as sharpness, but makes enchanting slightly more useful.

I love how creepy it is like it got reanimated in gross swamp water and it took appearance well to also camouflage in it's environment, I can't wait to encounter it and get jumpscared by it too

Skeletons now have the most variants of all hostile mobs, with the base form, strays, wither skeles, skeleton horsemen, spider jockeys, and bogged skeletons

@@gothmfsalemWell "Lil" bro was onto something you just don't seem to get it You see when we say "Variants" we are talking about the complete difference of the base mob in terms of texture and ability, you cannot whatsoever count the spider and the horsemen skeletons Those are normal skeletons with armor and no difference, their mounts do not count as a difference. Going deeper in Minecraft bedrock code the skeleton file has a component that specifically checks it's environment to make sure it changes it from a normal skeleton to a completely different mob file named "Stray", which in turn will also be a thing for the Bogged And guess what? The "Spring trap"(which is what it is referred to in the code) also known as the Skeleton horsemen are triggered in events to specifically to spawn a specific base skeleton with chainmail armor And it is triggered by a different entity not the base entity which is the Skeleton Horse (Trap) Thanks for reading this, I personally do not count the Jockeys or the Horsemen as different variants of the skeleton, I count them as base skeleton with no difference in texture or ability.

If they were able to add this, it means there is a chance that: -Add more variations of arrows and how to craft them (I would like Strays to have Ice/Freeze type arrows, but the probability of them shooting those arrows or dropping them when they die is low). -More variations of Creepers, like in the Elemental Creepers mod (Please Mojan). -Add more enchantments for weapons or items.

I like the Trial Chambers a lot since they're adding multiple new mobs with them. I feel like we missed out on some good hostile mobs in mob votes because casual players didn't want anything that adds difficulty.

Minecraft is one of those games that adds a new mob in but either it’s useless and half implemented or it’s just another reskin of something else and has some minor changes… all of this development time and that’s what they do. Crazy idk.

This aged badly The 3 "worse" mobs are: A skeleton variant that can be sheared for 2 mushrooms on top of being a free poison arrow farm and is easier to kill cuz it has less hp and a slower fire rate Breeze that has breeze rods that can be used for lots of stuff (making a potion of "wind charged" that makes mobs explode on death like the breezes projectiles, cloning the "flow" armor trim, turning said breeze rod into 4 wind charges(one of the most versitile and useful items in the whole game) and using said breeze rod as an ingredient to make a new weapon aka the mace) And lastly the armadillo wich has a new reworked wolf armor that makes wolves straight up invincible until the armor breaks unless we talking about potions

So the new update removed boat fall damage, that means we could put a cow in a boat, attach a boat to a lead, use elytra to fly around tugging the boat, and use wind charges to get airborne, carrying the cow with us and using it during battle with the Big spawners. Which means we need cow armor in the next update, so that it can be more viable to bring them into battle.

the bogged also lost bc he was not only firing slower, but doing less damage than normal bc spiders are immune to poison (negating the whole reason why bogged have less health)

The Bogged should have a longer range also to balance out the slower firing rate and lower health. Make them poison snipers basically.

So much better than the normal skeleton using poison arrows. Since the bogged mob shoots slow and we can dodge it's arrows so easily. I can also use it to kill an iron golem. Since the golem aren't immune to poison.

Wow! A new hostile mob! We haven’t had a new hostile mob since 1.16 with Hoglins, Piglins, and Piglin Brutes. Now, the achievement “Monsters Hunted” will have an extra mob to kill!

@@lazarpetrovic1671 Sorry… I meant the Breeze to… and I meant a mob we need to kill to get the achievement “Monsters Hunted” the Warden is a hostile mob we have to avoid. It is possible to kill it but very hard to do

I mean technically the wither skeleton is a fire skeleton since it’s meant to resemble a charred skeleton. We’d probably end up getting a water skeleton that resembles a drowned or something

Time for a new type of protection enchantment or anti-potion enchantment. Something like Potion Protection or Purity where you could be immune/ lessen the time on negative status effects. Milk is cool but it isn't stackable.

I'm not sure how I feel about the name "Bogged", it's kinda clunky to me. I guess it's meant to be similar to like a Drowned? But that one makes more sense since they literally come from Zombies that are drowned, which as we saw doesn't happen for this one when Skeletons enter a swamp (like for Husks). Plus Husks and Strays have cool unique names already, so sticking to an arbitrary naming convention from the Drowned doesn't make a lot of sense (unless they're supposed to be specific counterparts, but I don't really get that vibe either).

They should really make milk give an effect that clears all effects for like 1-2 seconds Its annoying to drink milk because of a bad effect only to get the effect again

Just wait when Orespawn or RLcraft, gets updated also...And then we add these Pain in the Ass Poisoning SKeletons... We might end up having a boss variation of the Bogged, that has Increased Hp, and Damage...And enough firepower to absolutely nuke the hell out of you...

i think the trad offs for the new skeletons are bad, just 1 debuff is enough and strays have slowness arrows with no trade offs

Slowness is worthless while poison is incredibly deadly. Acting like they’re equivalent debuffs is weird.

@@hafplace1346 The spider killing it is not the same as a player killing it. Spiders are also not affected by poison, have a smaller hitbox on the y axis compared to any skeleton mob, and attack much faster than the Bogged. The way the player is supposed to interact with it is not the same.
