My mother was a true trad wife, and one of the first lessons she taught us was that all people, no matter the color, were made in the image of God and mocking them because of their skin color is just plain disgusting. Whether it goes both ways or not, I'm not going to support that behavior... Edit: since people seem to have misunderstood something, I will clarify: I don't care about how it is used now (or who uses it), but the n-word is still derogatory. Idc if everyone usess it, I won't. It's called being consistent in my worldview and before you ask...I don't cuss at all because I choose to be respectful to people through my choice of language.

It's not dehumanising, it's literally just like calling someone a dude or a mate and that's how they talk. People who are not actually racist, or sing lyrics in songs, are not being intentionally malicious or say it with that intent. That kind of person is the reason I cringed at the word “conservative” for so long. I think the conservatives I’ve learned from and respect are ones who still value and appreciate people, kindness, respect, and are compassionate to the issues. I’m not 100% conservative myself but I can identify generally more these days with the right, but people like that still make me cringe. I’m not offended I just don’t think she’s helping, or represents classy or traditional minded people.

I am a millennial. I grew up with "offensive language" and I do not censor myself. Freedom of speech exists and I say the same word. It's never about the color of someones skin, obviously that is very, very, wrong!! But it's a playful euphemism for someone trashy or an exclamation when I see or hear something shocking or exasperating. I also say other words you "shouldn't say" because my right, my freedom, to speak is more important than anyone's precious, baby, feelings. I'm not sorry and I never will be. 🤷‍♀️

If we wanted to explore labels, we could try the qualities of a "Proverbs 30 woman", but this requires the audience in the conversation to actually know their scripture and would also benefit when said woman knew as well which verse is worthy of demonstrating. Thus the problem of social media (or at least a problem) is that it really requires everyone to be on the same page. By comparison, conversation / discord shows when ideas need to be clarified. So I would suggest a wonderful quality of a traditional wife (or husband) is someone that uses social media reluctantly, or even better, not at all.

I was really into the trad wife community back in 2019/2020 and a TON of the women who followed me when I posted trad wife stuff ended up being legitimate white supremacy members. It would be like “oh yeah here is me and my kids and me making sourdough and then REALLY AWFUL RACIST MEME”. Rather shocking…but it’s a legit thing. I still consider myself traditional but when I post now I make sure to put emphasis on being a BIBLICAL traditional wife and mother to weed out the crazies

I will not be offended by her nerd comments because I don't care what she thinks. But I would defend nerds. They come in leftist form and rightist forms. My family and I are a family of proud nerds. We are contributing members of society, and are kind people. But whether or not she is being serious or putting on an act in her videos, she is contributing to the vitriol on the internet. For that I dislike her videos very much.
