Жыл бұрын'This is not war, this is a sport' said Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti on Tuesday, as he spoke about the changes that need to be made in football.
Real Madrid's 1-0 loss to Valencia on Sunday was overshadowed by racism aimed at Vinicius Junior.
Valencia fans appeared to chant “monkey” at the star after Madrid's game at Mestalla Stadium had been temporarily stopped. Vinicius had said a fan insulted him from the stands, and Ancelotti said Vinicius initially didn't want to continue playing.
The Brazilian was later sent off after an altercation with Valencia players, and gestured to home fans about their team’s fight against relegation as he left the field.
On Tuesday, Spanish police also arrested four men accused of hanging a doll by a bit of rope around it's neck from a bridge wearing Vinicius's shirt.
The defeat against Valencia means they trail city rivals Atletico by a point in the battle to finish second in La Liga - 'Los Blancos' missed out on the league title to Barcelona but have secured Champions League football for next season.

I was watching the game. Im not a fan of either teams as i support Premier League, but i am 100% sure I will never be a fan of FC Valencia, disgusting tactics by the end of game, there was no football to be seen, and on top of it fans made it even worse.

I've been a Barca fan for all my life. I'm 52 but I haven't watched a single La Liga or a Serie A game in two years. I don't expect anyone to follow my path. But I've been doing my bit. I've switched off watching these games only because I want to hurt them sponsers. Only then will these guys move. Until then life will go on... But it mustn't. Balotelli, Rashford, Lukaku, Bukayo Saka, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Dani Alves etc etc etc. Enough is enough. I love football. Black, white and everything in between.

Instead I saw n reported literally 9 direct DEATH THREATS to the immediate family of Vinicius Jr. in Spanish ❗... That's how low the situation there has gone down 2 ... n m not any rival La Liga fan but an LFC supporter n I stand with H.E.R.O. Vini needs to go nowhere. He should go or stay where he wants and I don’t agree with people saying he should leave. That’s his club, his team and his ambitions. La liga needs to take ownership and put in programes from grass roots like “kick it out” It’s not a isolated few and will take generations to change. So they need carrot and stick approach. Serious sanctions on clubs regardless of size if there fans are caught chanting that way. Individuals also dealt with as appropriate. He shouldn’t have to leave because of some cunts

Football is rivalry. Valencia fans are not racist, they have black players who they don't insult because they are in their team. They attack the opponent player Vinicius just like they did with Ronaldo before. The goal is to get under the players skin to get them out the game. Usually fans attack the most dangerous player of the opponent team. Madrid fans used to call Messi midget and down syndrome while Ronaldo used to get hit with family attack, gay, and Portuguese insults. It's not racist to call Bale an Ape when he had similar features just like it is not racist to call Vini a monkey. To me Obama with the big ears looks more of a monkey, that is not racism, it's what my eyes see and freedom of speech. If Spain was racist, Vini would not be playing football making millions.
