Hey AR, I highly recommend an old puzzle platformer Toki Tori 2. It's extremely clever with lots of secret puzzles interspersed with the main game, it's right up your alley, I'm positive you would love it. FYI It's nothing like Toki Tori 1, that's an ok puzzle game but it's got nothing on the superb game design and level design of 2

Day 16 of saying that you should look into Recursed, it is an awesome puzzle game with awesome recursion craziness and it does a great job teaching you the mechanics as you play without any blatant tutorial levels
