In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Watcher. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

The second master reality is mostly useful because it lets you see the first copy per fight faster

removes/transforms 2 might just be the best starting boon for watcher. everytime i get either of 2 i know im gonna have a good run

If you have two copies of Master Reality active and Foreign Influence gives you Searing Blow, does it upgrade to Searing Blow+2?

If you look power indicator below your character's health bar, Master Reality doesn't stack up with multiple copies unlike some other powers such as Rushdown, where you will draw 2 additional cards for each copies of Rushdown played. For this reason, Searing Blow will not be upgraded to Searing Blow+2.

I actually like collect. Especially if you end up not taking any energy relics. I stand by that decision as well I like collect. I am not ashamed

i had no idea people thought this card was bad? i play collect+ for 0-1 energy in hallway fights, and 2-3 in boss fights. it’s just good, simple energy games

@@sarahb4683 Baalorlord explains why it's bad in this video: it does nothing on the turn you play it, and the more energy you pour into it, the longer the payoff. I'd much rather have any of the one-cost Calm cards. Baalorlord mentions that it's good with Dead Branch, and I think it's worth grabbing if you happen to have Chemical X.

if you could create searing blow and have multiple master reality would it upgrade it multiple times or just once?

@@porterbiehler5082 he actually said in the video he doesn't know. That would be weird because i imagine Armaments would keep upgrading it in combat but multiple master realities wouldn't make no sense

@@Bird1912 the reason I think it only happens once is because Master Reality doesn’t stack. You can see when he puts multiple in play that the Master Reality “condition” he has under him is still only there once without a number next to it. My guess is that the game code checks to see if you have that condition, and then it changes an un-upgraded card being added to the deck into an upgraded card. So because the condition doesn’t stack, searing blow would only have one upgrade

That is a weird choice in coding it should stack. Imagine the chances of getting searing blow and this

@@Bird1912 That's probably why it doesn't stack. There's only one card that can even interact with multiple stacks, so the programmers probably either A) didn't consider it or B) didn't think it was worth it

At about 31 minutes, Baalorlord suggests that he picked up Bloody Idol because he hasn't completed a run with it (for the challenge, I presume). I never would've even considered not exchanging the idols, but maybe it's worth it, thanks to the Membership Card?

Video title "This is really good!" is such an uninspiring and lame title, lol. But I guess if you're pushing out a ton of videos daily, it gets hard to remain creative and original.

Baalor does not do the titles or thumbnails this is his editor’s job. I think it’s just picked from a list each time
