This one definitely carries Vessel's theme of walking knowingly and willingly into a bad relationship...whether it's one that bites with teeth, or tears with claws, or stands in the rain. He knows what he's doing, knows he shouldn't, and does any way. I also love how he compares his own flaws and demons to the person he's writing about. It's not I have an evil girlfriend, but "I picked unwisely and I'm glad I did" because it just feels right out in the rain.

This is the most underrated song Vessel wrote IMO. It doesn't have a studio version like Blood Sport so it’s often overlooked but it's so beautiful.

Without question, the best vocalist and lyricist of our generation.

BloodSport and Shelter lead in perfectly into TPWBYT. I will say this. Take me back to Eden may be their best album front to back, but TPWBYT is my favorite Sleep Token. Between the sound and overall vibe and the visualizer's it's a total mood. Plus, you think the lyrics are good now TPWBYT may be vessels best work...IMO! See you guys there.

I love seeing Sleep Token effect people the way they do for me. I heard them for the first time two years ago with Blood Sport (from the room below) and It took me awhile to really fall for them (pun intended.) I was in the wrong mindset at the time to appreciate them for what they are. They didn't resonate with me until after i had a terribly traumatic relationship experience and the whole trilogy felt like it was speaking to me. They helped me through one of the hardest times in my life, and I will always love them for that reason. 💜 WORSHIP.

This song hits the feels really hard. Both of my partners suffer from depression and can fall into really dark places at times. When they do, this is what I play for them. That chorus is my mantra for them.

I still want her and I still love her. But I can’t talk to her. I have to wait for a few years until we’re both healed and ready. But man, it sure was rainy when we were together. I feel bad for all of it, the stupid situations we were put in. I pray and trust god that he will guide me to her one day.

As much as Bloodsport hits hard in the feels, this one can move me to tears like no other. Like Kyle said, there's just something so powerful when you strip everything down to a voice and the keys. There's such a vulnerability and emotional heft to it like nothing else, and when that voice is Vessel's, forget about it. Straight up ugly crying, I'm cutting all the onions.

I love sleep token and love your guys reactions to them. This song helped me alot earlier this year when i lost my father. Something about the lyrics and the way Vessel performs them. My father would have loved this song. Another great one that is a single it wasn't written by vessel but it was another song that was amazing and really helped me at the time was Is it really you. I hope you guys do that one and keep up the amazing job on the channel.

You guys should react to some songs from a Japanese metal band called Jiluka. The three songs are Blvck, Venom, and Overkill. They are a perfect mix of heavy metal, doom-style guitar playing, and dubstep. They are some of the most hype songs I’ve listened to.

"The way that you were" has a similar vibe and an actual music video.

As a more recent ST fan, I must say that it's hard to listen to anything else. Other music is good...even great. But nothing makes me feel like Sleep Token does.
