Rashid is Capcom’s baby because he’s the ultimate DLC lol. The Saudi govt made a large investment in Capcom (and BandaiNamco) more than a decade ago after which Rashid was created, made a main character, and has been strong ever since.

Jamie needing one less drink to unlock will make him very good. But there are so many ways to improve him that is a scary situation make him top tier

Dhalsims level 2 should have been a bit like Ed’s, with Dhalsim shooting the sunburst at more of a horizontal arc that goes from one side of the screen to the other, instead of the steep vertical arc it has atm which just goes up and down lands in front of him. He should also sit down on the ground and start blowing the fire instead of floating and sitting in the air and allowing opponents to duck down.

I've been saying. Dhalsim needs a utility super like Blanka/Juri/JP/Guile/Rashid. Why does Guile and JP, two very strong zoners WITH wake up ex moves, also get great level 2 utility supers? Just... why?

How did Guile, Ed and others get their V triggers back the same or improved upon whilst Dhalsim gets a poor ineffective version of his V trigger which is only useful as his only reversal (and even then it’s not always great) or when a players stunned. He also should have been given yoga gale to be able to direct the sunburst around (along with Y flame and Y blast). I don’t get why capcom have made Dhalsim so much weaker than SF5 Dhalsim.

They should allow Jamie to keep 1 drink in the next round if you get to 4 drinks in the previous round. It’s needed to encourage Jamie mains to get to 4 drinks instead of stopping at 2 and also to reward Jamie mains for grinding to 4 drinks in the first place. Also they should make his standard dive kick ground bounce so he can combo off it just like the OD version. It just wouldn’t be as fast as the OD. Otherwise it’s not an effective move. I expect more of a better move as reward for getting a drink.

There are some dope applications for divekick already that I encourage you to look into if you're a Jamie. ThreatLvMidnight has an excellent video about Divekicks 101. I feel you either way, it doesn't feel very good at all but we make it work lol.

They're very strong, I wouldn't go as far as to say underrated because everyone saw and understood how strong the buffs were. The problem is just that he doesn't "play SF6" better than any of the other shotos. He's just not doing as good as Luke anywhere you look statistically, whether tournaments or official Capcom stats for ranked, and he just doesn't play the game the way it should be played like Ken and Akuma. For Ryu to even be on the same level as any of those three, he has to sacrifice his pressure to get a Denjin charge whereas all of the others have instant access to their power without sacrificing anything for it. The only thing you could argue about Ryu being better at is that he's maybe a better drive gauge bully.

I was just learning Rashid this week. I actually agree with JB Guile is top 1. Ive been calling Guile top 1 before Capcom Cup.

JB speaks so much truth about Zangief. The funny thing is a lot of gief players think they are so good just because they guess right once out of a few tries or get a punish counter SPD. Both Aki and Gief are mad annoying this patch. But I can't complain too much as JP and Luke were hella annoying season 1.

I think they buffed Gief so much so that they can then spend the rest of the game's life cycle nerfing him into the ground Jamie, Kimberly and Manon are characters that will be complete nightmares if they're buffed. I already hate fighting them.

Zangief actually has bad matchups compared to those other characters that’s what makes him balance guile dhalsim Lily hell even jp can be tough for him .

Rashid, Blanka, Aki, JP, are all broken af! ALL Shotos are the bottom of my tier list. The easier it is to understand and play against a specific type of character the lower they are on the list. The more unpredictable and oppressive they are the higher they are. Characters like Blank forces you to react to bullshit!

If you listen to what he said following that he means Guiles neutral is so good, most characters have to play his game and not the other way around. That doesnt mean hes easy bake or not. Also no matter how good Guile is he’ll never be that popular bc historically most people think his playstyle is lame or boring

People just can't stand any non shoto character to be good. IMO is way better to lose against an intelligent Zangief, Blanka or Rashid than against another shoto spammer. Let the unorthodox chars cook, I say. Nerf Ken for real, instead.

I disagree, everyone complained about Ken since like month 1. I’m all for different archetypes being good but that’s cap. I barely run into blanka but he’s random as hell like he’s always been. Rashid’s annoying too. Not saying I can’t beat him or calling for nerfs, that characters just not fun to fight imo

Gief and Bison are my least favorite matchups at present. Gief is a pain, but still a reasonable bully I don't mind fighting against. Bison is a goofy ass troll character. I can't stand this bag of fuckery.
