Market is down still, I've been looking up strategies and apparently both bull and bear market condition provides equal avenue to accrue massive gains, and a news article particularly mentioned a 54 year old that made $180k in 5weeks, how do I learn these strategies, my portfolio has been stagnant for months.

For the average individual, the tactics are rather demanding. Actually, most of them are effectively completed by professionals who possess the necessary knowledge and skill sets to carry out such trades.

a downtrend offers an equally high-yielding avenue if you have the necessary skills and knowledge. This is why I've been using an investment advisor to scale up during this difficult time, and it's the only way I've been able to raise up to $150K in the last six months. It all comes down to technique. The downtrend gives you room to focus on the market and grow-substantially whether in the long or short run.

As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Zachery M Demers’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Kudos to the journey ahead!

Slowly because I hate the idea that I'm timing the market. Sacha's record does indeed seem pretty good: he ain't the first person to be saying small-cap thrives in a low-interest environment and historically have outperformed standard large cap (as have equal-weighted).

Sasha, are u considering macro issues? Oil de-dolorisation, devaluation of the dollar accelerating due to Russia war and central banks switching heavily to gold. USA cost of living crisis/middle class squeeze. People have maxed out their credit cards so consumer spending is slowing and could crash. Earnings will take a hit, there's simply a lag. Nvidia earnings are based on B2b sales, and right now these businesses haven't figured out how to monetise AI. The macro environment is complex due to 2008 and Covid bailouts. S&P 500 is simply a tracker of the rich and yes they have been doing incredibly well... so far.

These are all bullish, do you think that governments and central banks will just let everything collapse into debt deflation? The bigger the problems, the bigger the liquidity pump will be. Two thoughts: the small caps are cheap but don’t you think that when the MAG7 will experience a correction this event alone will push down the entire market? The bull market started in March 2009 and lasted until 2020. Since then we saw two short corrections, to me a big correction looks highly probable…

I can see stocks to crash but not now, within 1-2 years maybe. Unless the world will discover new source of energy which can satisfy the needs of ai computing power. Ai bubble will burst and then everyone will sell as everyone panic as usually. But time will tell. What comes up always need to come down :)

As a theoretical philosophy student these questions of "what line should the market follow" are interesting and I think you are on point by suggesting something else than the majority. What ever line or curve the market "follows", simply means there has existed constant factors in the actual world that has transferred into constant mathematical patterns. But the actual world does not follow the math, it's the opposite; the math follows the actual world. So we should indeed focus into aspects of the actual world when looking what will happen.. in the actual world. Are we justified to use past mathematical constants to predict the future, meaning; are the actual factors still existing that created the past mathematical patterns?

Sasha, whilst you may be technically correct and there is no reason for a crash and in theory the markets should continue, I think that there will be a crash simply due to human expectation that there will be one. In short we will talk ourselves into crashing. There is increasing talk each day of the coming crash so people will believe the negative hype and withdraw from the market, so the crash becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Basic herd behaviour. What you need to ask is, are we being manipulated?

I've actually seen a few new businesses open, and not pound shops or mobile phone cover shops, decently branded indie-businesses. That surprised me given the outlook. But they say the strong businesses and smart entrepreneurs that last, tend to start during difficult times and take advantage of all the debt-riding ones failing. Hopefully Papa J-Pow doesn't break anything too badly.

It goes up and down always has and always will im not clever or dedicated enough to time the market but i can £ cost average and i can usually recognise a slump just not the bottom. I suspect some rate cuts are pending which will boost cheaper stocks that benefit from a lower interest rate so its probably not a bad time to ease into small caos but i wouldnt go all in. Its a punt and worth a satellite position in a balanced portfolio wouldnt bet farm on it though.

I understand your point on valuations but there’s a fair few detractors to valuations over that time, namely the average lifespan of businesses and thus terminal values. Interpolation (trend line/curve fit ) type selection is contingent on understanding of the causation. High order polymonal will give good alignment to data but isn't actually often accurate. Understanding this interpolation relationship is essential for reliable accurate extrapolation. Really appreciate Sasha actually trying to break down the causality to these plots. I swear finance industry skipped analytics 101 sometimes and just rave the "line goes up!" attitude.

You say all this, but sasha literally just fit an exponential curve to the data at 3:44 And while I'm not saying he's wrong, I'd love to hear his rationale for why technological advancement and improved quality of life would make it so that the economy has the capacity for a higher ratio of stock price to earnings, because while I don't disagree that the stock market absolutely works differently than it used to, that particular justification of the trend in the shiller ratio seems irrational to me
