We don't really know. Chess has only been solved if there are 7 or less pieces on the board. There are 32 pieces in the game, so we probably won't get anywhere near solving chess during this life time. If no moves are played, white is advantageous, because of the first move advantage. We don't know if it's a draw every time, or white should win, or something in between for perfect chess.

As a 600 who has never studied the semi Slav, can someone please explain to fixation Levy has with taking the black knight with the white bishop? As a low level player, all I see is trading three points of material to get taken back by the queen which now has close to the center of the board. Then he keeps commenting how white hasn’t taken the night, but in many other videos he derides low level players for taking material that wasn’t a threat for the sake of taking material.

I see Levy never encountered theTimeLock Gambit. 1: play 30 or 60 minute game like a 3 minute game. 2a: If you win you win 2b: If you lose, before final moves you afk for your remaining time, making moves here and there to leech their time as well. Sometimes opponents decide it isn't worth it and give up, or leave the game running after youve made a move forcing them to lose on time.
