I've never watched your channel before.. I'm in St Louis and have plenty of friends that ride.. I was riding with a friend about a year ago and we were about to get in the interstate and be riding for about an hour to a get together.. something didn't feel right so I told my male driver turnal around let's go back to my place something doesn't feel right . We turned at our next intersection and as we were turning a Dodge ram truck turned right into us . The driver and I made eye contact and he was not swerving to miss us or letting you in the gas. My friend was such a good driver that the truck just barely hit us.. but it scared us both si bad um done riding and he listed his Indian and sold it that week.. people look out for bikes, please.. im devastated over your loss, a huge one!! People do not watch out for motorcycles and when my daughter was born, I gave up riding because I did not want to leave her without a mother and I just didn’t trust people. My ex-husband was hit on his bike Was pretty severely hurt but has recovered so I hear. My prayers are with you Terra. I just stumbled upon this page. We used to ride a Harley trike. We had a horrible accident. People don’t watch. We had our tall flags on the back too. We were spared thank God. We gave up riding after. I’m sorry you have to go through this.

Im so sorry for your loss😢. This is so scary when auto drivers don’t pay attention or just don’t care about motorcyclist. About 2 weeks ago my grandson was on his way home to his wife and son after finishing a motorcycle meeting. He called his wife and told her he was on his way home. It was <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="210">3:30</a>pm on Saturday and he didn’t get home for <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="210">3:30</a> am he had called her. My daughter started calling all the hospitals and sure enough, he was hit head on by a driver who didn’t stop at the stop sign. He suffered a broken knee, his arms were very badly injured, had fractured hip and other injuries. This is the most traumatic experience we all as a family had. Thank God his helmet saved him from getting brain injury.🥺 Please take care and again, my sincere condolences 🙏💖

I am so sorry for your losses that sounds horrific. I'm 65 now but when I was 18 I got engaged to a motor biker and that very night on his way home he was killed by a drunk driver in a car. I actually hate motorbikes since then, although I do realise it wasn't his fault. I have 7 kids, 6 boys and a girl, 3 of my boys and my daughter all had motorbikes I was petrified but didn't explain to them why. Thank goodness they never had accidents. My daughter became a Mum and so doesn't ride anymore and sons prefer cars for now. Sending huge hugs xxx

I am very careful around motorcycles. I don't ride but I have friends and family members who do and I know how dangerous it can be when people ride too close or anything.

It was very hard to hit the like button. I am soooo very sorry for your loss. My condolences to all of you. So very sad and traumatic. As a rider, who also now has a 25 year old that rides… we are sending hugs and prayers as fellow riders. One of my son’s friends passed away last year when a tractor trailer hit him. He was only 19 years old. 😢. I stopped riding when my first child was born and didn’t ride again until my kids became adult. I think most of us realize the risk we take. But we also know, there’s also many other ways in which we could leave the world. We have to be safe as we can, but we still need to enjoy life. I love how you remember what a beautiful day it had been. I worry every time I know my son is out riding, but I also know he enjoying the small amounts of time he gets to be “free”. I used to always tell my mom that if something ever happened while I was riding to please not be sad because riding was so good my soul and the best times of my life . I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved friends 💔💔. I will be praying for you all to recover from such a traumatic experience. I can’t imagine what you all are going through. 😢😢😢. so sorry for your loss. thank you for the story, take all the time you need to adjust. healing is the priority right now, but remember it's a cyclical thing. there is no upward climb out of grief. so no need to feel pressured to feel "normal" asap. my grandparents actually met when my grandpa was in coma from a motorcycle accident and my grandma was the nurse he saw when he woke up. but he forbade anyone else in the family from ever getting on a motorcycle.
