As a LONG time Ryu viewer, the Yoshi stuff confused me a lot at some point. Because years ago Ryu would actually always go out of his way to try and SAVE Yoshi. Then, if I remember correctly, just from one day to the other he suddenly started being a huge Yoshi hater and tries to kill him every time. I do not know what has happened behind the scenes or which Yoshi might have wronged Ryu. But he used to be the Yoshis best friend... then he changed.

3:18 It would've been so funny if that earlier Galoomba actually didn't have a key, you only needed two keys here, the second door led straight to the end, and the bottom two doors were just a ruse. It wasn't particularly likely, since no one has any reason to design a course like that, but it would've been funny.

Yes agreed, he completely forgot to check the 2nd block in the bonus level. He DID hit an invisible block next to it - which is maybe what caused him to think that he checked it already.
