Personally I just treated her like a regular friend since I didn't like her and I would even use her for her recources and use her for validation in subtle ways that don't make me seem insecure. It eventually led to her liking me and seeing me as someone who she wouldn't be able to get aka the chase which she continuously persuited.

To be honest with you guys I never quite understood why so many deemed friend zone being so hard to get out of.. honestly I don't think that was ever a problem I came across not only that but majority of the girls who ended up liking me etc we're in fact my friends some close! I'm under the impression it had to do with me seeing each other as friends before hand/putting them in the friendszone.. ultimately unless you got the looks pass, the more effort you put in the quicker some of these girls run away or use you as their confidence booster for the guys higher up on their list!

I think a way of letting her know is, if she ever mentions you and her being friends in a conversation, you tell her "we're not friends" . I've done this with girls who i never even gave the impression that we're "friends" ,I just told them were not friends, the looks were all priceless. Just be honest, because there's girls who will automatically assume who are "friends" just because you interacted with them. Other than that though, I don't end up in the friend zone,you either walk away ,or I tend to mind my business, unless the girl finds me attractive
