the MC is a self insert in disguise good things happened to him without him knowing how it happened or how he gets it he solved conflict or accomplished something good by plot armour level of luck. For example,his Mission of meeting Mikey as far as takemitchy knows kiyomasa is the guy who knows about Mikey and he doesn't want to throw any information to him so he challenge him into a fight here comes his lucky moment where Mikey is the one who goes there meeting him and takemitchy have no idea why he is even there. Another good example of him getting carried by luck is in in Valhalla arc where he wanted to deal with the conflict and save kazutora he have no strategy or plan but what helps him is the plot device charm that he happened to pickup by chance and it conveniently fall off his shirt when he is getting his ass kicked which ending up saving him and kazutora since the plot device stop Mikey dark impulse.
