About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

Megan absolutely nailed the winter wonderland B-roll stuff PERFECTLY! that was so sick! The morning drone footage was unreal! That morning Broll we will never forget 😂 couldn’t feel our fingers lips or feet 😂😂 and we were using our canon 5ds which has no stabilisation 😂😂 and weights a tonne but it came up great hey! Always gotta call the old man 😂 he loves it. Thanks again mate 🎄🎅

Faarout Tassi has it all! Snow in December, scallop pies, unreal hikes and waterfalls. It looks very quiet with all these locations too. Oh by the way, I left Brissy last week heading back out west for work and I decided to detour through Kenilworth Bakery from the recommendation. Thanks so much! My 4 pack of sugar greatness hit the spot on the long drive and will definitely return to try them all. These videos keep getting better and better and my bucket list keeps getting deeper and deeper.. Keen to see more of the Tassi trip :D

I have escaped snow - spending winter in Cyprus. As a Norwegian senior citizen I need to escape sleet and slippery streets, Tromsø is worst, death toll due to winter is rising for elderly. YOU TWO JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT, IT SEEMS! ENJOY!

WOW! Another incredible video guys! With all the crap and negativity going on in the world today, Jack & Megan's infectious enthusiasm, positiveness, and happiness takes it all away for 15 mins! If I ever win the Lotto, Tasmania will be my first trip of many, and I'd hire Jack & Megan as my official tour guides. To see Megan's reaction to the snow was priceless! And they should come for a visit to Alberta, Canada, where it has been known to snow every month of the year.

Your reaction upon seeing snowfall for the same time reminded me of my GF's reaction when she too saw it for the first time years ago. She has been wishing for it to snow all week when we were at the Snowy Mountains skiing, to which I said, "trust me, you don't want it to snow". It did eventurally snow and sure enough after 2 hours of snowfalls (and continued to fall,) she's had enough. 😁😁

Such a wonderful experience for you both for it to snow. It does not normally snow in November. But in odd occasions, when the winds blow from the south, it brings extremely cold temperatures from Antarctica which will produce snow. Even as far north as the Barrington Tops in NSW. After being in hospital last week and now recovering at home, two things have made me smile and laugh uncontrollably...seeing my baby granddaughter laughing and giggling while being tickled and NOW watching Megan (and Jack) during her first snow fall. You both show such pure happiness it's very much contagious. Keep doing you guys because you make a difference in our lives. Not unusual to be so cold down there this time of year. You will need to go back again there are so many walks there. Bay of fires, wine glass bay, liffey Falls, gorge walk, I could go on. Enjoy, your faces tell us everything 🥰

I’m only half way through this video and you guys are having the time of your lives…… I spotted your channel on the day you got off the SOT in Devonport, because it was recommended by KZfaq because I live in Devonport and I had recently watched some videos of Tassie. Queenstown and that whole area down there is stunning and driving to Derwent Bridge and Tarraleah. Yes it snows. Lots…. Keep up with the great videos and enjoy your travels around this beautiful countryside.
