[Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3076] Narrated By Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When Allah created Adam He wiped his back and every person that He created among his offspring until the Day of Resurrection fell out of his back. He placed a ray of light between the eyes of every person. Then He showed them to Adam and he said: 'O Lord! Who are these people?' He said: 'These are your offspring.' He saw one of them whose ray between his eyes amazed him, so he said: 'O Lord! Who is this?' He said: 'This is a man from the latter nations of your offspring called Dawud.' He said: 'Lord! How long did You make his lifespan?' He said: 'Sixty years.' He said: 'O Lord! Add forty years from my life to his.' So at the end of Adam's life, the Angel of death of came to him, and he said: 'Do I not have forty years remaining?' He said: 'Did you not give them to your son Dawud?'" He said: "Adam denied, so his offspring denied, and Adam forgot and his offspring forgot, and Adam sinned, so his offspring sinned." [Status: Hasan]

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «لما خلق اللهُ آدمَ مسح ظهره، فسقط من ظهره كل نَسَمة هو خالقها من ذُرِّيته إلى يوم القيامة، وجعل بين عيني كل إنسان منهم وَبِيصًا من نور، ثم عرضهم على آدم فقال: أي رب، مَن هؤلاء؟ قال: هؤلاء ذريتك، فرأى رجلا منهم فأعجبه وَبِيصُ ما بين عينيه، فقال: أي رب مَن هذا؟ فقال: هذا رجل من آخر الأمم من ذُرِّيتك يقال له: داود. فقال: رب كم جعلتَ عُمُرَه؟ قال: ستين سنة، قال: أي رب، زِده من عُمُري أربعين سنة. فلما قضي عمر آدم جاءه مَلَكُ الموت، فقال: أوَلَم يبقَ من عمري أربعون سنة؟ قال: أوَلَم تُعْطِها ابنَك داود قال: فجَحَدَ آدمُ فجحدت ذُرِّيتُه، ونسي آدمُ فنسيت ذُرِّيتُه، وخَطِئ آدم فخَطِئت ذُرِّيتُه». @@meninsilau As far as I have studied about sketching, This is all I know. Main thing for the prohibiting the Sketches was that when a human tries to sketch something he'll definitely make mistakes e.g The eyes will be different in size or shape than the actual size or shape or nose could be round more or could be more sharp etc. The whole point pf prohibiting was alteration of Allah's Creation. But as you have said there are certain scholars whom said it's permissable but under several conditions. Few are mentioned below: We can draw non-living things as well as plants/trees without any restriction. While drawing living things such as humans or animals we'll have to consider few things. Draw an incomplete drawing/sketching. Meaning one or more thing should not be drawn from ears, nose, mouth or eyes. The picture should not to be used for respecting someone. As normally people draw sketches of their ideal and hang that in their rooms offices.

@@holygraphite1292 Presentation of knowledge which is of no use to them? So he was just presenting it to them to show them he has the capacity to know so much? Again, what's the use? If it is some facts then it makes sense or about righteous people who will excel in virtue above them so they know them or something that they can relate to themselves. Not something totally unrelatable like physics. And Allah Knows best.

What a strange thing to say ! Physics and every other form of knowledge creates "tadabbur " , contemplation which leads to higher consciousness which in turn leads us to the Creator. Allah asked him to display his knowledge. He was just following Allah's commands like a true "abd " and what he knew made him superior by Allah's will and not by his own whims.

And how can you say following God's command while you don't know if that command was to teach them physics and names or not, why assuming??

The names are useful to the angles because 1) they write dawn the good and the bad things done by the humans like those on our shoulders. 2) they take clouds to rain where ever is needed 3) taking the life out off creatures in this earth And so the angels have permission to use the names for the job they assigned for.

Maybe Adam (A.S) didn't saw mirror and when he saw people first time he maybe shocked. Like today if you saw different species or creatures you'll be shocked too. No its a wrong idea ....it was the idea of satan that told them the tree will make you immortals And they believed it But when they ate the opposite happened If it was as you say, they will become resident of jannah regardless its a sin or not

Because this was never meant to be tafsir (exegesis), brother. Nouman has clarified this many times. Exegesis is a whole science of explaining exactly what the Quran means. What Nouman does is called tadabbur (pondering and reflecting). We are simply thinking about what the Quran means and trying to draw connections. This is what we’re supposed to do with the Quran. It is an ocean of knowledge. Tadabbur is what unlocks the impact of the Quran. Allah expects us to reflect.
