Back in the late 1970’s I worked for a major auto testing fleet. We had a fleet of 18 wheelers that would break wheel lug studs all the time. They were running 150% of legal loads. We started using anti-seize and ended the failures overnight. The anti-seize helps on the threads but it’s really for the face between the nut bevel and the wheel rim. This prevents metal galling and allows the nut to fully tighten up without jamming into the wheel before it reaches full torque. If used correctly it will be much better than oil that can encourage the nut to work loose.

Hunters dry delivery is absolutely hilarious and someday I hope he and Lizzy arm wrestle for a charity or something. All the little comments on being allergic to silicone are hilarious as well- again I grew up hearing that stuff everyday. That extension paul used is for people who don’t like getting too close to their work! Much fun and I can’t wait until the next one. Be safe and thank you for sharing your family with us 😊
