13:00 I'm right around gc1 in 1v1s and I feel like most of the games I lose are because of my kickoff. What workshop map do you recommend people use to practice them on? When I search kickoff on steam I don't see any good results. Like the kickoffs at 9:56, 10:35 and 10:55 are not standard kickoffs where you're just flipping into the ball. Like 2:37 looks like a normal kickoff and the other guy just dismantles it.

Hello, I wanted to talk about a small poison that has been poisoning me for years. I've been a professional soccer player for the previous 7 years, and when I first started Rocket League, my enthusiasm for the game was unrivaled. I learned and tried my hardest to do the first aerial drag, ceiling shot, and so on... I've been practicing a variety of super-fast speed shots in training, but it always felt to me that I was double or even treble the work required or intended based on my professional viewpoint and vision of the field... Obviously, Rocket League features a small scaled X, Y, and Z map for a goal-to-goal flow of play, and I've always experienced awful headaches, eye discomfort, back and neck bone breaks, and I've never understood why. I've even always thought that some of the work I put into training is suddenly squandered in a single match for no apparent reason, and I lose energy to recover in training, and so on... Even though I've had the potential to win the games and I'm very certain and accurate about calculating my time to reach the ball and hit that shot at the angle I intend to, just some super speed brain spike occurs and exceeds the limitations of a regular human being's brain consciousness of the game physics into a never-ending ping pong useless game cycle... and no one knows who's making the mistake... then the game shifts to everyone leaving the match or remaining shocked... Thus, I'd want to mention something off-topic about Rocket League RLC's pro players... Consider getting those players together in a single genuine football match. I guarantee you my life those players will be unable to shoot/pass the ball effectively as they propose to do in Rocket League, I'm sorry... they can't even lift in the gym without bullying... However, I got to the conclusion that the Rocket League camera geometric mathematics are tricking all of us into not presenting and confirming our true and complete brilliance in the game. "Field of View". Setting the Field of View to 110, as most "Pro players" do, shifts your dimensions to speed up plays up to x2 the speed of default vision. However, this can lead to confusion when it comes to slow smart plays, as players may have messed up their speed shifting recognition and brain awareness of life time-span... On the opposite side, ever wondered why Rocket League's default Field of View is set to 90? Because the angle between the Z, X, and Y is 90 degrees, it creates a triangle shape in every dimension, which is exactly how your view on the field should be gazing down every play of the ball within a decent distant sights, so you know when it's your turn to attack, rotate, and defend... Camera settings for Rocket League's usual life time frame. Field of View: 90 Distance: 400 Height: 90 Angle: 0.00 Stiffness: 1.00 Swivel Speed: 5.00 Transition Speed: 2.00

Was anyone else triggered by squishy’s loss on the first game. It’s like we all know he coulda won, but he threw . I find it satisfying when he wins, he shoulda already started doing more mechanical things when the game was that close anyways. Good videos and serious all the way though!

Smurfing is something that will always be in the game as a resource for some to get some bucks, telling a youtuber to stop doing it wont change anything no matter what they do.

Awww its such a shame these videos arent allowed anymore. Couldnt they fix some kind of MMR compensation for people wanting to start this? Anyways, I really starting to notice I am getting better from just watching these games and Squishies decision making. I notice how close he stays at the ball and how he pisitions himself behind the ball and the timing of it all, which allows him to give him so many options and get favorable 50s more likely. Also the phrase he said in the video before this; you have to actually watch and decide if a ball is threatening or not all the time. Some of these things he does and says made my decision making so much better and it feels like you play so much better and more confident.

The fact epic want you to stop this is super wrong imo. The only reason 90% of people still play their now cashgrab game is because of KZfaqrs like yourself. If they want their playerbase happy and interested, they should let the people who boost their games popularity do what they want in it.

This is just showing he's not smurfing. He is teaching how game sense and what to do in each rank. He's not intentionally making new accounts to beat lower ranks. It is also rocket league, you're not gonna win every game you play. End of the day, we all came from a lower rank. If you use game sense and mechanics correctly, you can beat your opponent. If we are going to be upset at this, then the only reasonable thing is to ban squishy from ranked games permanently. Due to the fact he is a retired pro playing against ssls and gcs. If he's considered smurfing in this series, he is also considered smurfing against ssls. People don't look at the whole picture. He doesn't get placed in ssl after winning all 10 placement matches either. People blame two content creators, giving advice on the game in real time action in the ranks. When that is not really why their mmr is low! Each ranked player can be beaten, with that including pros as well from other power ranks.

The amount of streamers making videos highlight when someone cheats. The cheating is starting to come to a more public light. Epic does not like that brought to light. Hence stop the streamers... don't fix your game so they can't cheat.... Reminds me of TF2 and Valve.

I love your content bro, but I must be honest (I'm talking specifically about the educational content): you lost yourself a lot of times about the basic mechs (even in low ranks) and start doing so much advanced mechs, recoveries, etc., that nobody but a high GC/SSL or pro player can do. So I don't think this series is really educational. Please, don't take my comment in a bad way. I really enjoy watching you, but unfortunatelly I, as a diamond player, can't take much lessons to improve from this.

Dude i gotta tell ya. 90% of champ players know how to flip reset and do a lot of things that ssl players do. No they're not consistent or close to pro players but they can do them. Please stop acting like grand champion players even grand champ 1, can't do that stuff because yes they can. Anyone champ 2 or higher can do everything a ssl player does.
