It's not just the namplate, champ to GC is just aggressive chasing and insta chal's with little respect for the opponent. Absolutely everyone is chasing their nuts off in EU, its mental. Like you said the over aggressiveness is usually a sign of someone that is uncomfortable defending/has poor defensive fundamentals, they are desperate to de-possess you. I'm comfortable defending and if you can go flakes mode, or what you are doing here in this series for example, countering this aggressive meta with the fundamentals, shadowing/not over committing, fake challenges, low 50s, single pop shots using the bounce, bounce dribbles/hook shots, good recoveries, hitting the ball around them going for outplays, you can kind of just play solid fundamental car ball, wait for them to make a mistake and get an easy counter attack.

Hey Squishy, love your videos man. I was just thinking: If you really want to help people improve then an eyetracker would be very helpful, because players get to learn what to look for (watch the enemy, not the ball, etc..) I am probably not the first one to have this idea and I would think many people would enjoy that alot!

I feel like previously, the meta was to fake challenge until they dropped or flicked the ball away. So you condition them to think you were going to fake challenge, and then insta challenge. But that has been the meta for so long, that in higher level lobbies, if you insta challenge first, and condition them into thinking you are going to dive, then throw in the fakes. It tends to work great against higher level players. It’s the exact same concept in reverse with a little higher risk and reward. I feel like that’s why you are thrown off by the insta challenges early on in the game.

For future series on new epic accounts you can double bind on epic, by right clicking the game and going into the local files you can go to change the default input settings and duplicate Air Roll button and have two different keys for it. I use that on steam and epic because I have double binds for reversing (don't ask why lol)

How do you turn this fast? Its like your car has 0 momentum and can just turn on a dime. Whats wierd is that I have low ping and have made the steering more reactive, but i still cant turn anywhere near that fast, I would have to slide to turn as well as you, thats what i cannot understand.

When you do those "simple" shots and they go in on a GC3, believe me, if I did those same exact shots, they're getting saved and I'm getting countered and dunked. I have diamonds doing all kinds of mechanics on me, air dribble, flip reset. It's because your touches are so precise, your reads are impeccable, your speed is insane, you make your opponent look silly. You control the game so much you don't allow your opponent to do anything. I guess it does go to show that us diamonds should be working on reads, accuracy, etc..., but it's not easy. You have 20k hours!!! Us diamonds maybe only play a few hours a week.

Epic/Psyonix desperately need to do something about the growing toxicity in this game. Every 2nd game includes a douchebag that thrives on being toxic. My playtime has been drastically reduced recently, soon to uninstall as a result. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who has become sick of the toxicity. I think a simple player rating system can help reduce toxicity. Just take the same Overwatch player rating system and apply it to RL. Fuck, something, anything!
