The dev’s programming of the dog is so lifelike. The way it runs with you, looks around in the car, walks around sniffing, getting in the way when you’re trying to do something (like place down a blueprint/build). It’s bloody brilliant. When you put the bat in the modify window, click the text on the lower part of the window of what you want to add (scissors or nails). Do the grip part separate, I couldn't get it to modify both parts in one go. I trade those bats with the crash survivors. The modified bat seems to stun infected for a bit, but aim for center mass, not the head, h/t to Kage848.

The mobility is reduced because when you move with a rifle in your hands with the tactical grip you move slower than usual and the weapon becomes heavier. It's normally heavy without any attachments. Huge fan and keep up the good work. I'm ALWAYS looking forward for your next vids!

Just a little tip/strategy I use to be stealthy around bandit camps in games. I circle around the outer parameters of the camp and pick off the scouts that are out of sight of their buddies first. Then I systematically lure the inner guards out of the camp and take them out.

I'm really thinking about buying this game. I bought it back in 2020 and it had so many issues and bugs that i ended up refunding it. It actually looks really good now in this state. Love this series man, keep it up!

Wow, you're great with the bow. I can't get the knack with the aim being so off, and I use a bow quite well in every other game I play. When I went to Scott's camp it was empty. I ran back to my base, which is close, for batteries and a screwdriver but when I got back there were 7 bandits! I did manage to pick them off and looted everything but Scott. 😂

When you drag the scissors and nails to the bat, you actually start modifying the nails and not the bat. That's why the icon changed to white square. It's actually not editable.

Yes!!! I would build a perimeter wall around the main house/barn, that the fence connects to the water tower so you still have a observation tower without having to jump from the roof to the tower during the mist. 23:57

Getting that blueprint off of the crash survivor is HUGE rng on your part! There's only one other way of obtaining it in the game and it's definitely not an easy way 😂

The Reason "Mobility" was only very slightly lowered with a foregrip, is because holding a vertical foregrip keeps your wrist locked in a certain way, Whereas an angled foregrip allows for more flexibility because it allows you to grip while being able to freely move your wrist around better

You should build up border defenses around your barn base. That could be your main base of operations. Then you could have smaller outposts around the map for quick shelter/crafting in case you get into a bind. But yeah, build up them DEFENSES

Fooster! Near the camp you visited, there's a church with bandits holding a survivor captive. I was also able to figure out why you couldn't reach the very top of the platform at 45:49 - there's no collision on the ladder or the smaller platform, that's why it looked as though you simply walked through the ladder and because of the lack of collision, there's nothing for your character to grab onto when you jump. I even moved and stacked the storage lockers to climb up and have a look, but there isn't anything there. Down the hill from the bandit camp, there's also a completely empty farmhouse surrounded by a picket fence with plenty of area to build, along with a few cars.

I'd like to thank you and GameEdged for introducing this game and The Infected into my life years ago. I had never heard of either until I wached you play and I tried them and they've both become 2 of my all time favorite games and the devs just keep adding to them and making them better. I've watched all the series with you and Fisk and after watching S.O.A. I have to ask,I know Rati is currently working on Co-Op. That being said, when that feature is implemented, are we going to get a Mist Co-Op series with you and Fisk because that's something I'm actually looking forward to. Sorry so long lol

looking out of my living-room-window it looks EXACTLY like in the game. the trees, half-dark, rainstorm... and I could mistake the neighbours for those creatures... at least if I dont wear my glasses...

I know this is way late, and other people have addressed it, but I think I've got a good analogy for the decreased mobility after modification. I think it's because you have a grip, and a suppressor, and a laser all hanging off the barrel. Combined, those 3 things could add up to a kilo of mass to the front of the weapon. That's going to make it feel sluggish. To visualize, tuck a pool cue into your shoulder, aim it around, and feel how it swings. Then flip it around with the other end forward and do the same. The cue won't feel too much different, but the M4 is a lot heavier than a pool cue.

I heard tell that if you use a sledgehammer on the bodies after you kill them, you can move them to look underneath for broken guns and stuff. But, I haven't played so don't take my word for it......I only saw others do it and it seemed to work. Also, FANTASTIC CONTENT!!! Huge fan. Love this series. :)

Oh you can make a Stump for Scott, now he can (when he doesn't get stuck on rocky terrain) cut down trees, pick up logs and then have him cut logs into firewood on the Stump.

Fooster, if it's raining and you're outside, check your inventory in your backpack, if you see something flashing red, it's taking damage, at the same time check your inventory in your storage lockers, if anything is flashing red, then it's taking damage, if not, then you're good.

From what I've heard about keeping the dog, I believe you are supposed to keep him fed every day as he has a health/status feature to keep up or he will disappear. Btw, a great takedown of a huge camp without jeans on. Nothing like feeling the cool breeze on your legs while using the bow.😂

Hey Fooster, there are a few YT'ers I follow who are playing this game, all have had problems keeping Leo, except for GameEdge who feeds Leo every day. In your inventory,, In the "Pet" section, you can see Leos' hunger and thirst levels. The thirst level is not implemented yet, but the hunger level is. Leo can be fed with raw/cooked meat. So, once you get him back, I'm sure that you will, hunting every few days to keep feeding him. :) You can modify the baseball bat, but the items have to be added to the boxes below the bat depiction, not into the bat depiction. However, it's not worth it, guns are the best solution every single time, specifically the double barrel shotgun, and the Sniper rifle or assault rifle. The 9mm is weaker than a peashooter, the revolver is powerful but only 6 shots, and the bows are horrendous to aim with.

funny thing is, fooster, you could actually go in the second window that you went to in that bandit camp, you could freely enter the room doing the same thing you did and leave without no problems, downside is just you can't bring lockers out that way haha
