And why a person who is married cannot be somebody's type? Please explain. Do you even know what does it mean that "A" is in type of "B"? What does it mean if I said "A is my type". That means that that "A" has a certain set of personality&appearance traits that I find attractive. Not that "B" would have to be in the relationship with "A" no matter what. No, "B" will be attracted to a person who is similar to "A" in means of personality and/or looks. Is this comment section a different planet where creatures do not understand basics of "Earth language"? :|

yeah, and what you must not forget: it's only a relative choice. If choice A is 1% and choice B is 0.5%, choice A is a small value, but still larger than B. To be more likely than someone else to do XY doesnt mean to be likely to do XY.

i bumped into these wonderful dudes in tokyo shibuya about 2/3 years ago, purely by accident, they were on holiday ( i think) and i was just leaving my music school and there they were. i was having one of the worst days of my life and i was a wreck. i saw them walking down the street toward me and i couldnt believe my eyes! it was embarrassing as i was sobbing, but they were so kind and they let me take a photo with them. we talked about how i was attending this technical music school and that i played violin and something about anime too. they probably dont remember, but that is a day i will never forget

I think they do remember.Somehow i came across the video they made, which then they told about someone they met in Japan. So it must be you then? Because they told about the anine as well .They came to Japan to see the anime. Idk. I can't remember the exact word they said in the video. I wish i could helo you with this. But they were surpised a fan meaning you could recognize them in Japan. And they said thank you for being a fan 🤔 and supporting them all of this time too. Well something along those lines. Can't remember. I'm afraid i'll add things.i wish i could show you which video.But i really can't remember which one. If you see this- I don't think any of us knew your friends set the questions without you knowing what was in there. I think we assumed you both had set the questions, therefore it was more of a jokey feel (for example the question about who is better to hang out with). But knowing you guys didn't know the questions, it feels kind of cruel that the answers might give an impression your fans like one of you more than the other. I don't think that's the case at all. I hope you both know that you're both fantastic and very talented.

It all depends on the definition. If it's like "hang out with for a couple of hours" (like once ever, or even once every couple years or so) I'm fairly certain that I'd have a great time with both or either of them. If it's "hang out with regularly, like friends", then I agree with you, I'm not sure we'd work as friends for a number of reasons. I'm sure they're both great, but there are a lot of great people who wouldn't work as friends for me (and vice versa).

Okay, I wanna clarify things. I voted for Brett too for the question about hanging out but it's just because it was mentioned in their previous vids that Brett is a lot more extroverted than Eddy. Dude, I'm introverted AF that if I encounter another introvert, it will be like "Hi, how are you? "Good, how about you?" "Good, too" then we will just probably hear cricket noises XD Edit: Oh, wow! I can totally picture the scene! 😂😂😂 I used to be like that, but luckily an extrovert adopted me almost 20 years ago (my best friend, basically my "Brett") and helped me, showing how to start a conversation, encouraging me to talk when we were in a group, etc... Everything comes with practice, I'm sure you'll get better at it with time. Maybe you'll find a "Brett" to help you in the future. 😘

I'm really surprised that more people didn't vote for Eddy in the hangout question. He is incredibly introspective, and he clearly enjoys exploring topics critically. I feel like he would have an interesting perspective on any topic. He's also funny and light-hearted during conversation.

@@n3llybean nah, they did an mbti and eddy is introverted while Brett is extroverted, I think loads of introverted more shy creators can be loud and talkative on camera because they feel comfortable and it's a safe space, but that doesn't necessarily apply to real life :)

When it came to the hanging out and the better teacher questions, I actually answered those reverse of the popular. Eddy seems to have similar humor to me anytime they're being 'casual', so I said I would prefer to hang out with him. But Brett seemed like he would be a more patient teacher, and better at explaining the basics, so I picked him as the teacher. I feel like about half the fans were actually trying to be serious with all their answers, and the other half were just trolling to the max. 😆

@@serena_davis God, it's *so* funny you should say that, I'm watching that video right now! (Re-watching, I should say.) Yeah, I get that vibe from him whenever they have to explain things. Not that I think Eddy couldn't teach, but I just felt that Brett would be able to keep things calmer and go slower. When it comes to jokes and stuff...I don't know. I mean, I have no *proof* or anything, it just seems that Eddy reacts to a lot of stuff the same way I would. I just feel like we might have an easier time hanging out. But I love them both, I would have no complaints meeting either or both! 😍

Personally, I prefer Brett because I need someone patient and explain things simply for a noob like me. 😅 I based my answer about hanging out on who was more extroverted. Brett said he was (in one of the Q&A videos) so I picked him. I feel like hanging out with Eddy will be great too once you get to know him better. I'm an introvert so two introverts meeting feels like it would be a little awkward at first. I don't know, it's just a feeling.... It's so funny that I'm overanalyzing this because I probably will never get to hang out with either of them! 😅

@@serena_davis You know, it's funny: that might be what they say, but Eddy has grown more confident in showing his personality as the years have passed. Plus, there's introverted and *introverted*. I can talk with virtually anyone, but I'm not big on social scenes or parties, stuff like that. But yeah, this is all pure speculation. I sincerely doubt I'll ever get a chance to meet them in person. (But if they ever *did* come back to the US, you can bet I would be there, I don't care how much driving it takes!) Also, if there's another Virtual Tour, I'll be buying that meet-and-greet ticket in a heartbeat.

It's interesting, if you go back to their old videos, they made jokes about this themselves...but in more recent years, as their audience has grown, I think they have acted more uncomfortable about it. Maybe it's because they realize some people are actually taking it seriously. Regardless, if they don't want to talk about it they shouldn't have to.

I think you both would make great teachers in different ways. Like Eddy can teach a lecture class on music theory, while Brett can be a personal violin teacher for individual lessons. I struggled so much with the Brett vs. Eddy portion of this survey 😂

Twoset you guys should make a video with artists from other genres of music and have them teach you how to play in that style (like a romani violinist, jazz violinist, a fiddler, a carnatic violinist... Or even other types of music that don't use violin). I think all musicians benefit from opening themselves to different genres so it'd be pretty educational, but it would also be really funny watching you actually attempt to play something else than classical lol (not that I don't like classical it's awesome too)

Another suggestion to add to the different styles: Prog/Rock/Fusion. I personally have a LOT of fun with various effects pedals. The fusion of Technology and Technique in experimental music is a blast.

Only thing is that idk how you could blend a non-electric violin and that, maybe just mic it up and then run effects pedals and whatnot? Could be fun actually, they'd need someone pretty experienced to set it up and teach them tho

It’s easy to think you know a public figure based on the content they put out, but I have a feeling that all our favorite KZfaqrs are different in real life than what our impression is of them, even if we’ve been watching them for years.

That's true! I personally feel Twoset is really refreshing in that we can see a really strong, genuine, friendship between Brett and Eddy but it's also not our place to comment on their personal lives, and I've realized we aren't really the best judge of who they are and what we should do; the best thing I feel I can do is support them and buy their merch when I'm no longer broke as a twoset fan.

9:56 I'm guessing since we know Eddy is an introvert. Introverts tend to be less social since it tires them out, and are usually more reserved. Alcohol makes you less reserved. So, if we put it on an extreme (consuming lots of alcohol), that's the choice.

I went to a counceling session today (take care of your mental health, everyone) and I noticed a poster for the local Philharmonic Youth Orchestra on her door, and that the Cello soloist shared her last name. I asked her about it, leading toa short talk about classical music in general, and about her 2 kids (Daughter confirmed cello soloist, Son violin soloist) At one point I mentioned getting back into all of it recently thanks to watching TwoSet. MY COUNCELOR responded to this with, "Oh, YES! They are verry funny XD." Shoutout to the Huangs, good luck in your upcoming concert. GO PRACTICE. Thanks to you guys too, your channel is helping me (and I'm certain many others) find common ground with strangers from all walks of life!

I have been waiting for this! LOL. I was SO right about who would actually run naked through the streets on a dare. It was literally a toss-up with me who would be more fun to hang out with. I had to toss a coin and Eddy won that one. However, I'd go for bubble tea with either one of them and I'd pay! :) Just for grins, I think Edwina should have been in the mix for Brett's type. I think he could keep her in line better than Eddy could. All he'd have to do is play his Ysaye; she'd melt.

The question (in this slightly bizarre questionnaire haha) about showering less frequently (also good to not overdo it on fragrance and shower gels) made me think of a wonderful book about microbiomes: skin microbiome, gut microbiome. Don't remember the name or the author of it, unfortunately. But it is great. It begins with that although some say that we are born, live and die alone, it is not scientifically correct, since even when we're alone we are not alone, being in a usually friendly symbiosis with many-many different species living on and inside of us. Peculiar thought, but in a good way. Edit: FOUND IT! "I Contain Multitudes: The Microbes Within Us and a Grander View of Life" by Ed Yong, who was born on December 17th, same as the Ludwig van Beethoven's baptismos day.
