The escalation in difficulty on this particular trail is always wild to me. That bottom 1/3rd is super steep

This was the first time I rode it but yeah definitely agree haha the first part is so tame and calm then you just drop off a cliff!

PNW MTB is about muddy trails 90+% of the time. YAY! Beautiful trails, no doubt, but no thank you. I don't mind mud from time to time, but not ALL the time.

What areas did you ride with prevalent mud? Yeah they can be wet but there's definitely spots that run super well in the winter (Tokul for one!)
