After spending 35 years of my life in the game as a player, trainer, scout, coach I’m not seeing why Mac isn’t in a rotation somewhere. His game is elite. I have 2 kids who played for me who are in the NBA right now going into there 3rd season and Mac is as good or better then both.

Don’t forget Mac shot 50%from the field and 40% from deep with a little less than 3 makes per game this season, so it’s safe to say the concerns on his three point shot should be over. Plus many players such as Trae young and Steph curry( before he bulked up to almost 200 pound) were able to overcome their lack of defense through high offensive contribution and being hidden during defense through defense strategies. Years ago, there was a GM or high ranking member in MLB orgniztion that has his daughter drafted. Mac Mcclung was ranked 79 as a high school 3 star prospect, Bronny James started his senior year close to 40th best but showed out and eventually earned 5 star status as being ranked 16 in the country. I do agree that bronny is not ready for the league at this time but he may in the future if he goes through another year of college. Mac mcclung simply doesn’t have the skill to play in the nba as he had a chance with the warriors and didn’t prove himself. I don’t think bronny deserves all the credit he is getting from the media and nba, but he does deserve credit for his hard work during high school. His brother Bryce isn’t even ranked so this does show that it is fairer than it seems and that Bryce’s brother bronny did work hard to get to college but still needs some work. Bronny did shoot second best on the three point drill during the draft and showed out during the scrimmage.

For Bronny to have a growth spurt at 19 is possible. Personally, I was 160cm (5'3") at 17 years old. Before I got to my 19th year birthday, I grew to 175cm (5'9"), had a 6 inch growth spurt. I was the same height as my mom. My father was 172cm, mom was 160cm. My youngest bro grew to 182cm, nearly 6 feet, with shoes on, people already think he's 6 feet. Bronny James is turning 20 years old this October. He might have maxed out already.
