As a Lakers fan since 1996, I’m no booster of Mac McClung. The dudes had a slew of opportunities. His problem is that he doesn’t play team basketball. Most of the time he can’t hit the broadside of a barn, He’s a turnover machine and he’s a complete liability on the defense end of the floor, but he sure can dunk…in practice. Let’s remember he’s more than six years older than Bronnie too. I think Bronny will make mincemeat of him in six years. But by all means keep tearing down and insulting and trashing a teenager…that’s totally not creepy unfair and disgusting but you know I’m sure it’s good for views and clicks though, so…🤷🙄

I'm glad someone had the balls to make this video. This isn't Bronny's fault. Who could possibly blame him ? He's a good kid. But, Mac, at 6"2, has repeatedly been told he is too short to play in the NBA, despite winning a G-league championship, 2 NBA slam dunk championships, and working his buns off, to prove his doubters wrong. What would folks be saying about this, had this been say, Larry Bird's son, and he got picked in the draft, after scoring 4 pts per game, over an African American kid who scores around 20 ppg for 4 straight years in the G-league ? The league is filled with people who shout racism at the drop of a hat, but what would you call this situation ? The situation with drafting Bronny to the Lakers, is definitely nepotism, no matter what Stephen A. Smith and others, may say. The league has no problem employing white players, as long as they are European white players. But, American white players ? Very rare. And, yes, there are a few, like Austin Reaves, and the freshly drafted Dalton Kneckt, but they are a small minority. This is wrong, concerning Mac, and I'm talking before and after Bronny, who again, is just following his dream, as he should do. People love Mac, and want to see him play on the big stage. He's earned it. He deserves it. And, he would put butts in seats. PERIOD. If Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues, at 5"3, could play 15 years, in an NBA that was FAR more physical than the run and gun, no touch game we see today, and Allen Iverson could be one of the greatest scorers the game has ever seen, at a claimed 6'0 ft, then there is NO EXCUSE for not signing Mac McClung to a one way contract on a real NBA team. Except for the color of his skin. Aren't we supposed to judge people by the content of their character, and not the color of their skin, or do we have a double standard ?

Mac Mcclung was ranked 79 as a high school 3 star prospect, Bronny James started his senior year close to 40th best but showed out and eventually earned 5 star status as being ranked 16 in the country. I do agree that bronny is not ready for the league at this time but he may in the future if he goes through another year of college. Mac mcclung simply doesn’t have the skill to play in the nba as he had a chance with the warriors and didn’t prove himself. I don’t think bronny deserves all the credit he is getting from the media and nba, but he does deserve credit for his hard work during high school. His brother Bryce isn’t even ranked so this does show that it is fairer than it seems and that Bryce’s brother bronny did work hard to get to college but still needs some work. Bronny did shoot second best on the three point drill during the draft and showed out during the scrimmage.

As Bball player and lifelong fan it’s definitely unfair. Mac has earned his way into the NBA a minute ago. Not taking anything away from Bronny but I’m taking Mac 10 out of 10 times. He’s a HOOPER regardless of skin color or height 💪🏽🇺🇸

For Bronny to have a growth spurt at 19 is possible. Personally, I was 160cm (5'3") at 17 years old. Before I got to my 19th year birthday, I grew to 175cm (5'9"), had a 6 inch growth spurt. I was the same height as my mom. My father was 172cm, mom was 160cm. My youngest bro grew to 182cm, nearly 6 feet, with shoes on, people already think he's 6 feet. Bronny James is turning 20 years old this October. He might have maxed out already.

He might be finished, but there is still a very slight chance.
@DC-hw5ep7 күн бұрын
All I heard him say basically was bronny too small and needs a growth spurt to be any good in the league and another thing he was shooting 37/27/68 on 5 points with 20 minutes but ppl think he should instantly be better in the league when there is better and smarter defenders it’s gon be very hard for him.
@SwishCulture7 күн бұрын
Well, there's a bit more than that including the life lesson, but we're all entitled to take what we can from it.
@yvarware38162 сағат бұрын
Think about it. Bronny needed his draft stock to be what it was to be available late so the Lakers could get him. Imagine if he would've went insane in college. It would've been impossible for LA to get him. You can say the whole plot was scripted
@fade2black198224 күн бұрын
If Bronny gets the spot with no G-League time, yeah its a fucking issue that Mac should take personally. If I had all the power in the world I'd like to see them in a game of ones and see them run the point for opposing teams against one another just to prove a point.

NBA is not primarily about basketball, it's about views and money. Truth be told, nobody wants to see McClung score baskets and we all know he can't be dunking on every run down the floor. But with Bronny, they're selling the story, which was probably prepaid by LBJ.

Mac just needs the fresh facial hair, then he'll get another shot.

JJ Reddick is the new Lakers head coach. Reddick and Lebron are already in business together with the pod. Bronny being drafted to the lakers is pure business and obviously not based on skill. The NBA has been a joke for a minute.

it’s unfair to judge bronny by his 1 year at usc after having a cardiac arrest, no doubt his dad has a lot to do with him being drafted after a season with very little impact but ultimately you can see bronny does has the skills to be an elite defender, that has a high basketball IQ and really good vision, there is potential there for the future he’s just 19, doesn’t have to be hate yet let’s see what he becomes
@fredrico4524 күн бұрын
Make NO mistakes about it. Brony is only getting this because his dad is still important to teams in the NBA. END Of STORY
