250/- han you say. Let's calculate 250/- petrol will be 2.4 ltr and Diesel will be 3 ltr. Earlier used to take 2hrs to reach your destination petrol/diesel wasted around 7-8 ltr (around 500-800/-) so you are saving almost 300-500/- and your time also.

If those who afford it go by this lane won't be normal route less congested. And the fuel which you will burn while stopping in long traffic would nearly be equal to the toll you give isn't it? And the time you saved it counts too.

If a person know a little bit math will understand it's profitable if he want to save his time and use it to create for more productivity, as earlier distance was around 52km but now it's 21.8 around 22km. Average per liter distance is around 15-25km, so we take 20km as average, means one spend around 250-280 rs + 2hr whereas now that same person would spend around 380rs +20 to 25minute for one way but for two way he would spend around 635rs + just 40 to 45 minute. And I am sure, maximum people will use it as two way, so 560-580rs+ 4hr or 635rs+45 to 45minute, one can tell which is more beneficial. so if not medium but upper medium class and upper class will choose second option to save time. And as govt. said it's only for 1year from second it will be 200rs (as they have pay the loan to japan), which will be good for medium class too.

Let's compare with Previous Bridge in Same city build on Sea Bandra Worli Sea Link :- Length : 5.6 Km Toll Fees : 85 Atal Setu :- Length : 22 Km Toll Fees : 200 (Before it was 250 now it is 200) Atal Setu is 4 times longer tha Bandra Worli Sea Link And toll fees could have been × 4 Means 331 It is the Longest Bridge of India 🇮🇳 + We also have to pay the $2 billion loan to Japan 🇯🇵 The toll is justifiable It will get reduced so dont worry

So everybody has the right to enjoy the new thing. It's wonderful to watch what development has to offer. This will happen for few days. Rather the govt should have opened the first week for visitors if it already didn't. And maybe monthly or some sort of arrangement for visitors to keep enjoying it.. tourists would also want to see the wonders. It's a beautiful thing for people to once stop and embrace the peace this wonder has to offer.. let people breathe and relax at the place and also provide a conduit for a beautiful drive and manage traffic by finding solutions that cater to the harmony between these needs.

Today 4 months after the Atal bridge was opened for public use, it is rarely used by public. One reason is the heavy toll of rs 250 one side trip. The other bigger and glaring reason is that the bridge lands you in Chirle on the Eastern side, which is a desolate spot leading to nowhere. At Chirle end, you would be met with heavy trucks from Nhava Sheva port. Next, to reach Mumbai Pune Expressway, this is another 16km ride from Chirle passing through Panvel and Kamothe residential areas. The Chirle circle is not serving any benefit for current public use as well as the future Airport at Navi Mumbai
