I really didn’t know much about Catholicism but I got saved and am married to someone who was raised Catholic and when I wanted to start going to church he said I should have an open mind about the Catholic Church cause that’s the only place he’ll attend. So I did some research and it didn’t take long to find they are pretty much a cult. Very sad. Thankfully the Lord has been working on my husbands heart and since I told him the things I’ve found out he isn’t claiming Catholicism anymore. Unfortunately he’s still not saved but I know God can do miracles ❤

Go to Rome and other churches in Europe. There are a lot of incorrupt saints just chilling in glass cases or coffins for everyone to pray too. They look like they are just sleeping, and others are actually decaying or skeletons.

Well, the Catholic faith is the most complete faith started by Jesus Christ who instituted the eucharist and precious blood at the last supper. Thats is his real body in the tomb. People aren't exactly supposed to pray TO Saints, but THROUGH them, like a Chinese telephone. Personally, even though I'm a Protestant, I see nothing wrong with praying through Saints, as long as you don't hold them above the Lord, Christ Jesus.

We're all already saints in Christ. You don't need to become a saint after you've accepted Jesus. Paul addressed the church in 1 Corinthians 1:2 saying, " To the church of God in Corinth, *to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be His saints* ...." A lot of the problems with the Catholic church would be solved if Catholics actually studied their Bibles and see what the Spirit of God says concerning us.

I came from a Catholic family.... somewhat! The praying to saints and (don't get me started on the worship of the Virgin Mary) is a common Catholic practice. These practices always felt wrong to me. Needless to say, I left the Catholic church, and now attend a Christian church. The Christian church teachings are much more inline with the bible, something that should most definitely be the indicator.

You mean, whats going on with the idolizers? Are we really surprised? They hold Jesus and His work in such LOW ESTEEM that they dont see the cross as a finished work but something that they still have to add all these other things to in order to have and MAINTIAN salvation. Just that alone is a doctrine of demons but then theres the worship of Mary and the veneration of the Pope who has all the authority, above Scripture even, is known as only how God should be known as "holy" and "father" and some used to call him "our lord and our god the pope". The POPE who has said that God cant forgive anyone. They openly dont believe jn relationship with Christ, Be is merely an OBJECT. Catholicism is a cult y'all.

I am Italian and I know a little about this boy's story but here the Christians no longer give weight to what the Catholic Church does, unfortunately the latter does not change and will never change as institutions (it is true that in the Catholic Church there are many Christians ) but as institutions it is far from Jesus and by teaching things that are contrary to the word there is no lack of opportunity to create new idols starting from Saint Francis, a pious father, and now this boy and many others I don't judge him (Carlo) because I don't know maybe his heart really wanted to serve the Lord but as I said the Catholic church has not preached Christ for centuries. Many brothers in the evangelical churches do not even consider the Catholic Church to be Christian, I repeat however in the Catholic Church there are many Christians even if sometimes I wonder how they can live their faith in Jesus in an idolatrous religion like the Catholic one.

God may have favored a man on earth, however all Glory should go to God, Jesus our Lord and Savior. Nothing is possible without God so praying to Saints doesn’t make sense when you can pray directly to the Almighty. God is never to busy to hear your prayers, he doesn’t need foot soldiers/messengers in order for you to be heard.

As Christians we are all saints (royal priesthood) in the Kingdom of God. We don’t need to be canonized as saints by the Catholic Church. Doesn’t make us perfect or worthy of praise or admiration, but apart of God’s family.

Just an fyi ,part of the Catholic 10 commandments says “Thou shall have no STRANGE GODS before me.” You get it? So this interpretation allows for normal and what is deemed acceptable idol worship and veneration, that’s why the saints and Mary are so special. They are all mediators in the catholic religion and jesus(small j because it’s a false version of the real JESUS) is still a feeble baby and they had to ask Mary to help move things along. Their church even the well meaning but ignorant believers is all about religion and tradition and worshipping other gods . The Most High/The Most Holy God our father,nor Jesus or the Holy Spirit operates in that church and they keep “believers” from maturing because they do not read the WORD to them at mass in context. They read skip around to different scriptures that have nothing to do with other in different books so the person never leaves with understanding but feels good about having survived another Sunday and taking communion. I say this respectfully this is just what I’ve learned and seen. I saw the catholic bible at the goodwill years ago and wanted to compare notes as to why it is specifically a catholic bible and not just a Bible- there are stark differences 😮which include idol worship but it’s all normal and good to them 😩

I think you looking at it from a wrong perspective saint's are recognized in a catholic church as people who devoted their lives to God while they were still alive and either saved people or did some miracles and we don't idolize them we recognize them and because they are in heaven we ask them to pray for us

I'm a Catholic teenager and for days I feel like leaving the faith because the whole praying to saints isn't making any sense to me.

I'm a former catholic. The eucharist is the body of christ. They call what we Christians call communion eucharist. It's all very strange. I don't understand it. I don't understand a lot of that catholic stuff. The whole Mary thing always confused me.

Hes a young man who followed Christ and devoted his life to bringing others to God. Acutis does not heal, God is the only one who heals.
