Jamaica is turning out to be one of my favorite counries all for the good reasons. I love it coz of the people, the openness and the warmth of the people. You can straight up go and talk to people and they treat you like a brother. Hi Kish, Jamaicans love West Africa because it the origin of our black ancestral roots. Most of the Africans brought to Jamaica are from Nigeria and Ghana. Additionally, the local language spoken is made up of Igbo, Yoruba and Akan words. Our energy in later years is also fueled by the music. Jamaica has one of the strongest Nollywood viewership outside of Africa because we can understand some of the conversations, their mannerisms, cultural traditions and foods are also similar to ours. Generally, people don't walk from Liguanea to HWT it's considered to be a long walk on a busy highway best to take a route taxi. Everything is closed on a Sunday in Jamaica except for Devon House. Hope Botanical Gardens, Hope Zoo, University of the West Indies Main Campus, and Emancipation Park are all places you can explore close to Liguanea. Also check out the Dub Club Skyline Drive, Bob Marley Museum, The National Gallery Downtown, Lucky 38 Club Many Jamaicans descend from Nigerians and Ghanaians maybe that's why. Half of the family that prepared the seafood meal are of East Indian descent.

Its not that the Jamaican ladies are shy, they are just curious so they will look at you suspiciously till they get to know who you are. They dont trust strangers at first thats what you are noticing.

Wow bro you are staying in....pronounced .....lig....a.....nee.....thats the area i grew up in....on that main road (liguanea avenue)....to the opposite of your walking direction...i moved from there in the late eighties and back then all those apartment buildings and town house gated complexes were all single family dwellings with low perimeter fencing along the roadway...looks very different now...

It’s true, 🇰🇪 Kenyan love ❤️ Jamaica 🇯🇲… I met a Kenyan in Berlin Germany one time, his dream was to come to Jamaica… and he grew his dread locks and finally he made it to Jamaica he was so happy. When he arrived at the airport they gave him the red carpet treatment… it was unforgettable for him.🇯🇲🐝😊

Hello Kish u are up town not dangerous but we have to be careful anywhere we go. Yes here in Jamaica is very expensive, so much different fr when I was living here. Living in the U.S. visiting now. Ackee is from West Africa and is common in Ghana. It however is not eaten there generally and is only eaten on a wide scale in Jamaica who in turn have taught the rest of the world to eat it. Ackee can be poisonous if improperly harvested and prepared, so people in most country that have it do not eat it and at one point feared Jamaicans because we can survive the poison.🙂 Some countries are said to use it in voodoo practices, so eating it is taboo.

I doubt if knowing comparable prices would keep anyone wanting to go to Jamaica from going. What it will do is have you prepared so you won't get caught off guard. It will make the trip more enjoyable.

KISH once you say Kingston it's expensive,as u might know it's divided into two places u ave uptown and down town so always check prices before u buy🤗🤗🤗 again it's the CAPITAL so no cheapness. I saw a vlog with DEE what happened to her Japanese BOYFRIEND 😞😞.
