Octavia. I haven't made a guide on her so i decided to make one and try to make OCTAVIA not Boring in warframe 2024. Please dont take me seriously on the whole octavia being less boring. By design she is boring however she is really good to get stuff done in warframe.

Mallet does blast damage with infinite scaling. Blast is about to be buffed to be more blasty => constant AOE explosions. This will be broken even more.

It might not be as mallet I don't believe does status procs. So while you will do blast damage, you won't proc the status.

Octavia’s mallet has no blast procs only deals blast damage.

@@Goosyx So will getting epitaph to proc blast in aoe make level scaling nuke because of blast damage +status combo albeit from different sources?

@atwarroyal8770 right now we don't know how much blast procs damage will be or even the range of the explosion. Though for Octavia it won't really matter as she already does plenty of damage. It's enemy armor that hurts her most but with the new enemy armor scaling she just might be better because you might just be able to get away with 1 tau green shard to strip most of the armor.

If you want to make octavia fun, start playing around with the mandachord. When i first got octavia i didnt even think she was one of the strongest frames in the game, i just really liked making songs on the mandachord and vibing to them on defense relics.

A sense of rhythm makes Octavia so much better. Putting notes on each slot is just criminal. With my Melody I can keep Nocturne up even by bullet jumping as the CTRL is considered a crouch. Otherwise great video! Thanks again!

I would get driven to madness by hearing the same four bars of Mozart or Beethoven on repeat, let alone some 90's era sounding, early computer game style, sound effects beat box. Even the "best" song implementation, and some of them are very impressive for what they are, will cause you to want to gouge your eyes out after hearing more that a couple of dozen times ... in your LIFETIME. The pro way to deal with this has always been to fill in all the notes and then turn the mandachord sound OFF! So Ive alway been surprized when I hear some people dismiss Octavia because they "can't stand the music'". If you could somehow have a largish, real song high fidelity playlist and have to actually keep the beat to that it would be one thing, but the idea that anyone could put up with listening to the same few notes over and over (and over) again is just insane.

Octavia was my 1st frame, and I could solo missions while being on mr8 without any weapons. Even if it's boring she is still cool.

@@whiterose2321 Yeah, and I said um no it wasn't your first frame. What about your starter frame? I'm still not sure how you get all the way to MR8, and then the first other frame you get is OCTAVIA of all frames... and not the dozens of much easier frames you get much earlier in the game. Threw me for a loop. Still, I remain vigilant in my assertion. Saying your *first* frame is anything other than your starter frame, is inherently misleading. If not outright untrue.

"Boring" okay then .... I guess I miss the days of warframe when the best frame were the afk frames. Resonating Quake Banshee used to be my favorite. Like we have to grind for hundred of hours frames that let me press the least amount of buttons the better.

I always hated her first 2 abilities because it forced you to not have to interact with the game. I wished they would completely change them to interact with the rest of her kit and have you actually do something, but the diehard fans of the busted frame would lose their collective minds. A shame the bard that ulways has the most utility and being the most active in other games is the complete opposite in Warframe.
