the Free Company was spawned in, spent a month gaining morale (they had a small amount of morale), they won that battle, and winning a battle in EU4 will raise the morale of the army

@@MRDNRA its the quality of the troops. rebels are significantly weaker unless they are pretender rebels or noble rebels. Peasant rebels being the weakest of them all. also since the free company was technically "spawned" into the province first, the rebels when they spawned in took -1 dice roll as well.

I think winning a battle technically just sets morale to a percentage, unless they've changed it. I remember seeing a KZfaqr abuse the mechanic by sacrificing a 1k stack to lower morale on the larger enemy army before his main army collapsed in. I could be wrong though.

I am currently with a Girl in an open interest state for couple of days now, and she really is my better part now, want the best for me as well as i want the best for her. She is also pushing me and kicking me in the butt (because sometimes i am too lazy to do anything) and thats why i really appreciate your words here Ludi, for the people who might don't have someone next to them. You guys are all amazing human beings, and deserve the best in the World, and maybe, just maybe, we can restore the Roman Empire. Don't quit or delay things or procrastinate. You never know when its too late, so live the life you all deserve.

About 13:25, if I remember correctly, any army that won battle regain like half of the morale at the end of the battle. This has been true for a while now.

Yep. I've intentionally ran new mercs into small stacks to get them up to higher morale for a big fight.

In turkic languages “Kazan/Qazan” means “pot”. Word has also other meanings like “to earn” (Qazanmaq/Kazan mak). You put your earnings into the pot. In the case of the city name, the word (Qazan) has also other meaning, “to win” (Qazanmaq\kazanmak).

One of my last games before putting a pause on EU4 was the khaaaan achievement starting as Sarig Yogir and it was very fun! Playing as a horde was so frustrating when it was first introduced and I was bad at the game but so exciting once you figure it out.

Ludi in the new patch the koreans have some kind of artifact that gives 0.25 institution spread in the province that is stationed, if you siege that province you can steal it, it happened to me once

Could you do a video where you take the entire coastline of europe as Croatia? I did a campaign similar to this recently and i found it to be a pretty fun and interesting since breaking free from Hungary can be challenging.

Thanks for the inspiration at 26min. I'm at a treatment center and just got 2 months sober. Every day I have classes where counselors give me advice to improve myself. Today I laid down in my bed to relax and scratch my eu4 itch with my old pal Ludi and BOOMSHAKALAKA he hits me right in the feels, driving home much of my new insights. This is truly a small world of like-minded people and magic is real. The Roman Empire is inside of us and is truly the friends we make along the way. Thank you brother.

TBH the mission tree for Chinese warlords is giga op. You can get even more Missions and permanent modifyers with the Mandate, Confucian faith harmonization and great projects in Asia. Not to mention you basically get free cores on the china super region as Chinese kingdom gov reform: the unify China cb.

13:48 i think that after a battle your units will get some moral flat. You can see this in a close battle. Even if your army wins just with like 2 % moral they will get some back. I think this is to prevent wiping huge armies with low moral after battle with like 2 infantry units

13:25 they spawned with low morale like normal. They just won a battle. When an army wins a battle they get like 50% of their morale increased after it's over.

About the morale, I've observed that a victorious army will have about 3/4 morale right after the fight, whatever the morale level before the fight
