Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.

@@farn-4u This is the problem! Most times people with little or no knowledge of the stock market try investing by themselves. It once happened to me, then I learned my lesson and contacted a US-based finance consultant by name Amanda Elizabeth Keller and everything changed. In in the first quarter of this year i made $370k and counting.

"Everyone can do something, but you have to figure out what you can do." -RK This has been the hardest thing in my life to do. I've studied finance and business for years, but I never found what I needed for myself to make it out of an every day common man work for the rest of my life kind of existence. Its weighed on my soul over time to see people pass me by financially. I try to stay happy and positive, but its like I'm running the rat race, and I'm in the lane with sticky deep mud, I know I'm in mud, but for the life of me I can't get out of it and get into a normal lane. I trudge along year after year looking for ways to get ahead, reading, studying, trying things, and I continue to see random people just sprint by me effortlessly to financial success in a nice smooth lane. I know where I should be, but can't seem to get there from here, things just never work out for me, for my whole life. I haven't given up, I'm just closer to the end than the beginning now, so I look to colonel sanders for inspiration, you know the guy got rich off his chicken recipe at 73 I've got a few years yet to beat him. The only thing that I have done successfully is work, save, and invest, I can live a very simple life off my savings and investments now, but it is not the life I had envisioned in my mind in my younger days.

Reading your comment alone speaks volume about your state of mind. You have more than 7 not/n't/negative sentence in your comment. And I believe that has been your stumbling block. I will greatly suggest you start working from your mind first, you need to significantly work on your belief system if you want to experience any success. Of a truth you are reading, learning, acquiring information and knowledge, but I perceive your mind is negatively sealed up and frustrated while glancing at others sprinting ahead of you....that you end up not taking any action .

Much of what he says is hands beating on the air...add inspiring background music but at the end of the day Follow people like Warren Buffett that shy from embracing debt. Just understand Robert Kiyosaki has stated many times that to get rich you must go into massive amount of debt. That is like saying...if you want to your boat to float in the water...sink it...it makes no sense unless you are borrowing so much money and making interest off of it you defer your debt till you die and and then one day your children are and grandchildren are left broke and no inheritance. It is a shell game and your children and grandchildren are the losers. I would be very careful and not listen to Kiyosaki for 99.99% of any investing.

21 years old, I procrastinated on getting work for ages after I graduated. I've watched people who never even cleared grade 10 and already have themselves almost set. I won't lie I didn't have much support from parents, I've come this far on my own. But the educational system is rigged, sends U in a loop every year. Teaching the same bullcrap that leads U nowhere. First time seeing this guy and it's a huge eye opener. It's focused my goals on something bigger. I've jumped into business n finance courses with Tafe to expand my understanding of the rich man's mindset in hope to finally find some serenity in life. I know for sure anyone else watching this guy and is truly listening word for word will achieve a lot more than they believe they can. This man has given me a sense of hope.

And the CV has had zero affect on my quality of life! I changed my attitude ages ago! I am doing what I want, when I want. I have no mortgage. Live next to the Pacific Ocean in paradise. I rent out a little casita I built myself! I’ve spent less than 3,000 on it- I’ll rent it between 300-400 bucks a month- which along with my other income will help me muuucho! I’ve quit paying taxes after buying my cherry Orchard ! But... I got sick... and money can’t buy health. Long story- digging out and move on over!

Robert K never explains any of his theories. "I make a million dollars but don't pay tax because my income is passive". If he's making a million and paying no tax what is he writing it off against? Same as his 'McDonald's don't pay tax' speech that he regurgitates in every speech. McDonald’s do pay tax but it appears to have structured its global its global business to avoid paying taxes both in the U.S. and in many of its major markets around the world. It has done so by engaging in aggressive and potentially abusive strategies. By using royalties to shift profits from foreign markets into tax havens, and avoiding paying tax on billions in foreign earnings in the U.S.
@jordanroberts7931

Kiyosaki is correct in what he's saying. However, yes he's generally vague. Once you understand how it works he's absolutely correct. A lot of places aren't paying $0 in taxes, they are just paying such low taxes that it might as well be $0 compared to the revenue. Understanding that the tax code is designed by the government to control the economy is the first step in understanding. A lot of people fail at this step when I tell them how it works because they don't want to feel like they are being controlled or it comes across as a conspiracy theory. The government isn't literally controlling you, they are simply incentivizing you to do things they need people to do, such as providing rental property to others to live in and creating businesses to stimulate and grow the economy. The government can't do all these things in capitalism (otherwise this would be called socialism), which we don't live in. Mathematically, taxes are the greatest expenses in your life and is the #1 reason for keeping you from becoming rich (because you don't have anything left to invest and grow), so learning how to avoid paying taxes will unlock an entirely different pile of money you can then use to better yourself. The average W-2 tax payer pays 30% in total taxes (all forms combined) over their lifetime. This literally translates to 30% of your time (or life) given to the government. In other words if you make $10/hour, the first $3/hour (18 minutes / 1 hour) you make go to the government. You are literally giving 18 minutes of every hour to the government. The first 2 hours and 24 minutes of every single day you sit at your miserable job is for free. The equivalent of 9 years out of a 30 year career is for FREE. That's absolutely mind-blowing and heartbreaking. You're over-thinking everything. Most places simply utilize real-estate (which is one of the best tax havens) to deduct income. That's why he always says McDonald's is first in the business of in real-estate, second in selling burgers. McDonald's leases out properties to individual franchise owners (small business owners) who bear the brunt of self-employed taxes, which are higher than even W-2. So the official corporation of McDonald's collects RENT, not the sales of burgers. McDonald's then depreciates it's properties (too complicated to explain here) against it's unearned income (Kiyosaki calls this passive income) to report a loss on paper as well as any business expenses incurred to keep the thing running, just like anyone else who invests in Real Estate. I just had this conversation with my CPA today, the goal of Real Estate is to report a loss on paper to avoid paying taxes and this is mainly achieved through depreciation because it usually goes in excess of business expenses. The IRS also carries losses into future years where you do owe taxes to even further reduce them in the future when you may have to owe. I realize I'm probably giving you his "master-course" that he charges you $10,000 for. I've never taken his course, I've just learned how it works and enjoy sharing it with others. It's not complicated, it's just not spoken about. There's a reason Real Estate has been the greatest wealth generator through all of human history in every society. It's because the government NEEDS it taken care of and there's just nothing you or I can do about it. If you disagree with how this works, that's not my problem or yours. There's also literally nothing anyone can do about it. If the government institutes a wealth tax, you will see a lot of people renounce their citizenship and live in the country 5.9 months of the year and they will then avoid paying any kinds of taxes altogether, which is arguably a lot worse. That's what I will be doing if people try to get cheeky and go after wealth or unearned income. The government knows this and that's why they can't go down that path. Hope this helps clarify what he's saying. I most likely won't reply to anything but hope this finds people and enlightens them how the world works.

@T South The first part of your assertion is correct. Your conclusion is not. Operating within a corporation is not hiding your assets--not from anyone. People who hold stock in any corporation share the risk of that corporation failing. They benefit from success, and they lose from failure. That's what investing is. When you buy a stock, you assume the same risk. That risk is reduced when you buy a mutual fund because gains and losses of individual stocks are offset by others in the fund.
