I think people misinterpret what the Bible teaches. If people read the Bible from front to back, they would get out of the world and change their mind overnight.

I was praying and I heard in my spirit, unless ye repent, you likewise will perish. I started to repent, then I heard the Lord tell me, tell my people to repent, judgement begins in the house of the Lord. He then told me that He's already uncovered some things in the church, but more judgement is on the way. Please pray for this man, and other Christians you know who aren't doing right. God is about to expose us (Christians, church-goers), and He's going to do it publicly, and it's not going to be good. A lot of shameful things are about to be made known. Our God is a consuming fire.

We are living in some perlious times and now more than ever, pastors need to preach what "thus saith the Lord" and stop preaching to itching ears and making people feel good in their sin. Instead of being concerned for reaching people who are in the world, we need to find the people who are willing to change. The church is getting corrupted if they do this sort of thing. Church is about the moral compass of the individual and groups, not about being popular. Church is not meant to be worldly. The old wisdom of Humanity can teach so much more (Socrates, Seneca, Confucius, etc.), yet why don't people teach that? Because it's not popular. Being wise and thoughtful and enlightened is a completely different path than being worldly. Christian wisdom is no different, it isn't popular with young worldly people, but it is what this world needs.

I'm a firm believer that pastors do not invent sermons....they come from frequenting their prayer closet and seeking what is on the heart of God. God, in turn, tells the pastor what is on His heart and puts it on the heart of the preacher to deliver to the flock. A Pastor is a shepherd. God was the very first in the book of Genesis, he Shepherded Adam and Eve and he preached the first gospel to them in Genesis 3:15. Next, Abel was a Shepherd, the Patriarchs were shepherds, Moses was a Shepherd, David was a Shepherd, the Prophets were Shepherds...all the way to the Chief Shepherd of our souls, Jesus Christ. Jesus told Peter if you love me more than these, feed my sheep (John 21:17). These Pastors do not love God, they do not follow Jesus Christ but glorify themselves. The majority of them Do NOT PREACH THE WORD. They preach from the word or about the word....but don't preach the word (2 Timothy 4:2). The purpose of preaching is to move the flock....the purpose of preaching is to gain the lost sheep. The purpose of preaching is to move people from where they are to where they belong. "Come Lord Jesus!" - Revelation 22:20
