Uhm....just a slight bit of pushback...I believe when it's advised that women do not give "Wifely privileges" to every man; it is to protect women from getting used and abused by men who seek to exploit a woman for their own gain. Denying men "wifely privileges" helps women weed out the narcissist from men who have the true intentions of being who they say they are. Basically the real men interested in being who they are walk the walk and talk the talk without trying to swindle women of their peace. Denying men "wifely privilege" also applies to not treating a bum to a castle, a woman's monetary contributions, luxuries, etc as well as a woman's body and womb. Children who he can either abandon or make like himself.

In the time of being single, you should be working on being the best version of yourself. Learn to love and respect yourself. So when you do start dating you enter a relationship knowing who you are and what you want.

I agree being single is not a curse but people view it as there's something wrong with you especially if you're a woman and childless such as myself.

I've listened to advice like this for years, dated level headed men, and I'm still single. I call BS on all of it at this point. Men don't want to be married whether godly or not; this is the season on the earth right now, and it sucks to be in the midst of it because i have a desire that's not being fulfilled. And if i consistently suppress this desire, i risk killing desire completely, and may not want it anymore when this marriage famine is over.

I enjoy being alone. You don’t have to compromise with another person and I don’t trust anyone else but myself so it’s good for me.

This conversation is exhausting. There’s hardly ever a focus on “husband energy” even when men should be the leaders and “finding” a wife! Majority of these men are horrible people and don’t appreciate wholesome, godly women. Being single is more peaceful, safe and enjoyable. Focus on God’s purpose for you and getting closer to Him.

While no one truly wants to be alone, I really need for people to stop the narrative that you are somehow defective or have not lived your purpose if you do not become a wife or husband or in the long run parent. If people are genuinely trying to find someone to give them peace of mind and build community with you do not want to settle and be deceived by material things and pretty words. I love what he said about relationships because we need to understand while we talk about not caring what others say and how they perceive us, we will only attract what we portray.

For me one of the annoying things about being a single fulfilled women of God as you define Shumake, people don't believe you can be happy by yourself. They always assume something is wrong with me, they make you feel like your faking your happiness or trying to save face, when I am not. Because I believe in God's will and I always pray whatever happen, just don't make me bitter, take bitterness out my heart.

As a young woman I really enjoyed this video and I, 1 billion percent agree with everything said. Thank you for mentioning that it’s not about cooking or cleaning and speaking on how men and women talk. I was recently at a gathering with individuals from my church. I was shocked and annoyed the whole time. They were all getting drunk talking about different sex positions, oral sex, waxed vs shaved etc. then the women proceeded to harass the men asking why dnt men want them who are good women🤦🏾‍♀️I literally had to get up, separate myself and leave.

This is 💯. As soon as I realized my worth being single, I don't have time to entertain anything that is not what God wants for me. Now, I have men trying to actually date me, and pull my attention to want to commit. I am taking my time, and it is more worth it than being with someone just to have a relationship. For anyone that is single and feeling lonely (it happened to me for sure). God wants you to have what you want and deserve in the right partner. Focus on what you want for yourself and don't bend your values. It's worth it!

That's all good and well, but whereas before 2020 it was difficult finding a godly spouse, now it has become nearly impossible with the added problem of most people having taken the shot(s).
