15:13 I would recommand playing some Guardevoir. She is a really fun zonner who can actually play decently well up close. But if you just wanna have fun I would recommand Crogunk. He is just perfect and I won't elaborate on that. He just is.

So about Aegislash, he has shield form and blade form like the games, but you start as blade form which is meant for rushdown and more close ranged attacks, while shield form is less mobile and more focused on zoning and defense. To switch to shield form, you need to use certain attacks like King's Shield (back+A) or canceling Iron Head (forward+A then shield). It can also enter shield mode by using X+A. Aegislash's lasers are mapped to its ranged attacks (y button), but it can also use Flash Cannon (forward+A). Side+Y makes it move to the side and reflects its laser in the other direction, but holding it will do so in 2 angles in the same general direction and also briefly stuns the opponent. The only other thing about shield form to know is that you can't jump or dash without leaving shield form as it switches your stance.

Pokken in surprisingly balanced, I would say that some are definitely worse than others (such as Croagunk being reliant on Buffs/Debuffs +rng or Blaziken chunking itself to deal pretty nice damage) but some are just good generalists and that makes them more consistent at a high level. Sceptile, the Mewtwos, Pika Libre, Braxien and Decidueye off the top of my head. But most "gimmick" characters are viable. Player's Cup Champion Shadowcat has a terrifying Darkrai, Gengar was really popular a while back for having an insane Burst and Aegislash for pretty much being the perfect noob crusher lol. Machamp, Empoleon and even Blastoise have tournament appearances. I can say that I have never seen a Croagunk at an offical tournament tho. I would love to see Toxicroak in Pokken 2 if it ever happens.
