This game is so underrated and it hurts that such a good concept and execution Nintendo just kinda threw aside. Really hoping the end of tournament support for it this year means they may actually be planning a sequel or something. I can dream, I can stay high on that copium. I'd like to explain the system a bit in case you guys do more of these vids (and I hope you do). Attacks beat Grabs Grabs beat Counters Counters beat Attacks When they clash, you can tell what types of attacks are clashing when your pokemon change colors and that barrier animation plays. Attacks are Red, Counters are Blue, and Grabs are Green. When one attack beats another in a clash, the winning attack gets a damage boost (critical hit) which is accompanied by that electrical sound effect. A BIG part of this game is calling out what type of move your opponent is about to use and beating it with a better one. Also, characters are balance differently by having more or less of certain move types than other characters. This is just the surface of the game but it's probably the most important foundation to know for playing at pretty much any level. 👍

This game really needs a sequel this is the Super Smash Bros of Pokemon it's really good and feels like you're playing by the Pokemon Anime rules which leads to insane battles and also the story mode was amazing at the end with Shadow Mewtwo a super cool form of Mewtwo that was extremely strong and the fact it blocks your Synergy Guage during the first 2 rounds against it really makes it feel more powerful.

I loved pokemon growing up, but I guess as I got older I struggled to get into the modern games. But I found myself enjoying the various spin offs even more. Pokken being one of my recent favorites, and I'm glad to have this game.

Honestly, it's truly disappointing that they'll probably never make another Pokken game, there are so many pokemon, both old and new, that would be perfect for it. Some that I would love to see: Kangaskhan, Vigoroth/Slaking, Vespiquen, Dusclops/Dusknoir, Dewott/Samurott/Hisuian Samurott, Zoroark/Hisuian Zoroark, Darmanitan/Galarian Darmanitan, Pawniar/Bisharp, Malamar, Toucannon, Golisopod, Cramorant, Galarian Farfetch'd/Sirfetch'd, Urshifu, Annihilape, Tinkaton, Brute Bonnet, Iron Hands, Gholdengo, Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant. There are just so many options for diverse, creative movesets and playstyles, to the point that the biggest problem such a game would face(other than TPC actually letting it happen) is narrowing down the sheer amount of options to a realistic roster size.
