Great video lad the most important piece of kit for going shooting or fishing on the lake is a can of monster I’d be dead without one half the time😂

Well done that’s some lake. I fish mostly on lough Ennell in mullingar. Would never have a season with that many fish, never mind a single day

I don’t Louis, all my fishing is catch and release and worm fishing just deep hooks too many small fish, so I try to stay away from it with the videos ☺️ it’s a great way for kids to learn how to fish though or for people trying to catch their dinner ☺️

Hello Im getting into fishing on lough conn county mayo i got myself a boat and a standard fishing rod and a fly fishing rod but i very confused on what lures and flies ill need i know lough conn is popular for trout and salmon fishing do u recommend any lures and flies.And what weight/size tippet would i need for fly fishing?

Hi, you should try the popular rapala lures for the lake trout, they are tried and tested for years. 6lb fleuro is all I use for the fly fishing, depends on what style you decide to fish after that. You can buy ready made leaders also.

Hi yes these techniques will work on any body of water for trout, they all generally behave the same no matter where they are. 👍
