Firstly if he wanted to visit the temple or ganpati pandal He should have been more cautious towards his food he had on that day as there are rules to respect but I believe some of us in India just soo stupid for getting foreigners approval / validation on everything be it even our religious practices But this advise is for phil Please don't get carried away with things I believe if you saying something please ask as you ask everything ask this as well and if you wish to say then say that Because you wont like people saying halejlulia and afterwards anyone saying I don't know what the hell I am saying I don't even know that is disrespectful

Incase you dont know this pandals theme was Shree Ram Darbar.Bappas idol is also based on Shree Ram katha.Thats why volunteers chant Jay Shree Ram...Nothing here any Religious Intensions

I'm pretty sure if it was something political that they were trying to make him say, he would get into a lot trouble since he's a foreigner. So they should've explained the meaning behind the phrase like you just did. He actually shouted it at 2:39 with the crowd. He's just shouting it because the crowd did. But in the other instance, these guys were making him say it without explaining it.

Each pandal are decorated by professional artists costs more than 1 million to crore rupees, enjoing foods, gossiping with friends, dances with dhunuchi abd at bisarjan and many more.

He must have been told by his Pakistani friend don't chant this it's "controversial" who probably had no idea about it that every Hindu chant this almost on daily basis either he must have seen BBC documentary reports which painted all Hindus are some kind of extrimist monsters who chants Jay Shree Ram and attacks anyways.
