Having a great manager and great coworkers is key to a happy work life. Key! Kept me in a job a lot longer than normal but I loved them all. When they slowly started leaving I did too.

Great video. One more thing I want to add is when you cold email/message someone, make it more personal if possible. For example, think about the reason why you emailed him/her in particular? Impressive title? Great achievement? Graduated from same school? Share some connection? These will greatly increase your response rates. In other word, stand out from the people trying to message the same person

I wanted to learn to code because I had this idea. I'm a truck driver and being on the road most time, I hardly get time to code. The problem is picking a pro language. Then there is the extensions library for that pro language. I was into python the abc coding program. I try but got lost. I switch to c# but later found out that it is no the pro language for what I wanted to do. But I will still try any way.

Any recommendations if you get e-mails from Amazon mostly every two weeks asking if you interested in a position at Amazon? Will be an answer like, sorry, I am not interested in the company enough? Bad thing, that e-mails going from different recruiters at Amazon.

If you’re not interested, I would honestly just not send a response 😅 Amazon sends a LOT of emails … so they won’t feel bad if you ignore them

@@cpu280 I never get interviews through the app process. That’s usually just a formality companies have so they don’t get in trouble - I would directly “hunt down” engineers or recruiters via LinkedIn or real life to find out about job openings. Make sure you get in contact with a real person!
