Just a quick thing to point out: d3+4 is not guarenteed after qcf1, they can spring kick to avoid it. b+4, b1+2 or his RD options are the best things to go for

I'd also like to add that Negan also has 1,4 as a 10 frame punish, which gives +3 and decent damage. So he has 1,2,4 for damage, 1,4 for frame advantage, and 1,2 hold for Intimidation pressure

8:51 If you stand still or walk forward in INT stance you can't block or duck highs or mids. If you walk backwards you can block highs/mids but you can't block lows and you won't get the auto hopkick either.

So the "Glenn-attack(where the bat gets stuck on the head)" is only on counter-hit? I was planning to do a combo after like a screw, don't you think that would look cool as a combo ender? Negan really looks and feels cool, but not like tournament viable so far, I feel like top tiers would just frame punish him to death, so sad.

I'm trying to do the setup at 19:00 but I can't get it to frame trap with the int charge 2+3. I have the dummy set to wake up with low kick and it's hitting me every time.

Spam 3+2 when you get into INT after df4,2. The unblockable has to come out as soon as it can. You also can't full combo into this setup, it has to be one launch into the setup, if you launch > screw into the setup the other player lands out of range.

How do you move cancel so quickly aka wave-dashing with him? I asked people earlier if you can do this with him and they said no. I'm using a PS4 controller so trying to move cancel/wave-dash is impossible for me.

Intimidation stance seems OP. Other characters' non-homing power crushes don't launch and are unsafe.

I enjoy playing Bryan too much. Have mained him since Tekken 7 release and tbh trying to master one character has brought my game to another level imo. I still have learned the casts moves, but will never leave my crazy cyborg. Muhahahahaha!

You can do a frame trap with db2 also just like the shove if your opponent throws a -9 move and then a 15f move do a db2 in between them it will trade with db2 and you can do a f1+2 because you recover immediately and it’s a 103dmg combo :)

Because you can catch people off guard for MASSIVE damage. The reward is worth it since the risk isn't a full punish but only a combo drop or a light punish.

@somjai Phaites yes... he has bad movement and limited tools not like jack 7... so if a player just run around the map, its difficult for gigas and they can just wait the timer to finish..

@@muhammada5164 i dont think he was mid tier His standing 4 was amazingly strong , he has good pressure up close and his punishing aint bad f2 and b1 are awesome Counter hit fishing tools Now that he got this nerfs , people will use more of his arsenal , im surprised not many people used SAV 1,4 , its a high/mid wall bounce,.hit confirmable , and almost safe due to pushback, and the range is atrocious in the second hit , you can even whiff punish with it if youre fast

Thank god Noctis and Negan wont be in Tekken 8. So brain dead its rediculous. People who main them are setting themselves back. These characters were designed for new players that they were supposed to bring in. Cheap, easy, and very strong. No thought process needed while playing. Enjoy it while it lasts. 💋

I don't play Negan because he has nothing to do with Tekken. He is a man with nothing but a baseball bat. His character looks boring, his movement animations are stiff and robotic. Nothing about him interests me. Regardless of his strength and abilities. No thanks.
