This isn't yet another fuzz face clone or a cheap big muff. The MoVall Galactic Groove Fuzzy Drive might have a goofy name, but don't let that fool you. This is inspired by the EWS Fuzzy Drive and if you've not heard of it, then the same here - one thing is for sure though, this one is definitely worth checking out. Rich and melodic Fuzz - overdrive sound, I like it in all settings. It doesn't sound too aggressive, which is a plus for me. Thank you for the video and greetings Pavel CZ.👍👍👍

Yeah, it's not spluttery or spitty but gets they fuzz flavour. Like a vintage overdrive almost

What is the difference with a "boutique" Tonebender?

@@guitareplayer7141 often times it'll be types of transistors used. The boutique ones use carefully selected components that are within a certain tolerance. The cheaper pedals will use much more varied tolerance with transistors that are a modern, mass produced equivalent.

@@guitareplayer7141 that is the question. I will say, fuzz circuits tend to be very few components so one component with a value that varies could be 10-20% of the overall components in the entire circuit, where a more complex pedal, it may only be something like 2% of the overall components. It will mean the boutique ones are at least more consistent, where the variety in one circuit to another with wider tolerances could be much more noticeable.

At sounds from the Galactic Groove. Liked it best with the gain up past halfway to full, gives sounds that would run up & bite you 👍

Sounds like a cranked old school tube amp to me, maybe a tweed amp. Definitely fuzzy. Cool pedal! I like drives like this.

Yeah, it's got more of the pushed amp kind of fuzz about it. I liken it to a vintage sounding overdrive tone, from crunchy to full on gain. Thanks for the comment 👍

Excellent videos, I watch them all the time, they are a great help to me so I don't spend too much on my gear. Suggestion: make a video of isolated power supplies, I was seeing some from the Vitoos brand that look promising, from the DD series. However, there are no videos or in-depth reviews in English, where you can see if they are really completely isolated, if they do not make noise and if they deliver the indicated amount of milliamps that they claim to deliver. They have really proved themselves with the last couple of demos, huh? It's almost unheard of to have a fuzz that has a usable gain control, so they've done well with this 👍
