Today we will be looking at the run of Hurt the Snake player, and how he managed against Miya and Acola.

Hurt lives in Kagoshima prefecture, the southern part of Kyushu, so he hasn't been able to attend these big tournament held in Kanto or Kansai region.(Also he's 20 and non-sponsored till this June) Before that he mainly attend to online tournament and Smashmate. After getting 13rd at Kagaribi #10, He won Koolong #6 and Maesuma TOP U-22 and Ace High held at Singapore. And now we can see him at Port Priority! can't wait to see that

If other regions had the access to good practice like Japan we would see a lot more out of nowhere players pop up. Traveling is expensive and some regions just lack top level players to begin with

That ftilt at the last stock was painful. I think he wanted a jab, but the snapback of his control stick messed him up.

Yeah that was totally snapback. I lose one stock at least almost every match at the moment because of how bad it is on my controller, and this is my 5th pro controller. It's fucking stupid that they haven't ever addressed this and the only work around are modding your controller or using a box. I fucking can't enjoy this game anymore because of snapback disproportionately affects me. I can hardly use Nair, I get so many aerials in the wrong direction, I SD constantly because my recovery gets reversed, and I get severely punished every time I try to land with a neutral B that would have hit if I didn't turn around, or when I pivot grab instead of dash grab. I've even occs had up air turn into down air, and down air SDs me off stage.

@@CrimsonStrider Have you tried GameCube controllers? I have used the same two for a year of significant use and have no issues that I can find with snap-back. Only had to replace controller stick due to losing grippy texture.

6:40 hurt could not have lived on hit. smash toss was a true punish, and grenade has extra knockback because of it's speed. great analysis! and with all due respect, hurt IS an amazing player, but what he's doing isn't new. he's combining a lot of the strategies of previous snake mains and mixing in a little bit of his own interaction based callouts that he grinded out on smashmate. snake will go far in this meta!

Hurt probably is the best snake, he has really good regional performances. Not out of nowhere lol, hes at least in the convo. Also hes an insane smashmate player

The matchup’s not that bad for snake. Trapper / space controlling characters like snake, Pac-Man do better against Game and watch than you’d think. Game and watch needs room to operate so setting up red zones everywhere is good against him. You can’t always bucket for free.

Easy steve fix so minecart is less broken...throw out a hitbox and it returns to Steve. Would maybe balance him out a bit more
