Having learned to drive in a 2008 Honda Jazz Sport, and currently owning a 2006 Accord Euro, today's car is something that combines the two. A K24 Swapped 2nd gen Honda Fit!

Even without the engine swap these are just good cars. Have a lightly modified one I drive through the Port Hills in CHCH. Keeps up with almost anything and has people questioning what it's had done to it to be so quick. Small size and okay handling with safe dynamics makes them very easy cars to push Hard. Momentum driving is its own fun.

Absolutely! I learned to drive in an nz new 1.5 sport and it handled beautifully with just enough power and a zinggy noise

Just a stock one in manual is surprisingly fun to drive, I was devestated when my dad sold his kluger for one when I was on my Ls, however slowly but surely I learned to love it. So fun to drive, you can hear the vtec, then shift into the next gear and do it all 5 times, and she definitely slips around in the rain. As for practicality, hes installed a set of roof racks on it and uses is similarly to a toyota hilux. All this and a fuel average of under 7L/100 it just doesnt get better than this. Best purchase for 2.5k with only 162kms

We actually race these in our US Gridlife series. It's meant to be a grassroots time attack, so these cars fit perfectly in the 25:1 pwr/weight class. You'd be surprised at the amount of G's this car pulls despite the cheap suspension design. I used to own a 97 ITR, but I actually find I enjoy this car more. I plan on a k24 swap down the road once my Evo 8 is done. :D I wish I could find the RS bumpers though. Very hard to find here.

I purchased my second GEN Honda fit in March 2014, I’m running mini Cooper wheels cold air intake drilled and slotted rotors with carbon fiber ceramic pads and it handles fantastic. I currently have 253,000 miles and my fit is going strong, those who rode with me so they can’t believe a stock fit as quick as mine

These second gen Jazz’s are insanely practical. I recommended one for my mother in law, she bought it and hasn’t had a single problem with it at all. Even with the 1.5 and auto it’s surprisingly zippy to drive so I can’t even fathom how it’d feel with a K series in it. I wonder how many lengths it’d pull on the Accord?! 😆

Only reason my Partner hasnt got Jazz is they were too expensive for her little run around 12 years back, Suzuki Ignis has been amazing though never had single problem, 4 tyres due to originals perished and still original exhaust at 21 years old and 26k miles, japanese reliable, all mine are Honda though

I have a stock GE8 RS 6 speed manual, and I love it, I used to drive an SiR Accord with the F20b, but this is much more fun on the roads that I drive, but the Accord was much better at highway speeds

i was own this ge8 jazz for 3 years and absolutely have so many memories, so fun to drive when you gotta to catch the clock, push hard everyday without even single trouble and i have to sell it because of the money problems, then i switch to cm5 accord with k24a4 manual transmission and it was also gave me goosebump when push it hard, i cant believe what i watch here the GE8 with k24 was briliant, whos the owner maybe he have some details about how to swap it properly, im probably gonna get another GE8 oneday doing the same thing :D

As a stock series 2, 1.5l VTIS owner, watching this is dangerous to ones wallet. They are exceptional cars vs any other brand options of the same range (so practical) but this makes it epic.

Pretty regular swap. About 2 years ago our company tuned ECU for Fit GE7 (JDM 4wd AT) swapped to K24a3 with CU2 intake shaft VTC50, custom header, Honda Stream short AT 4wd - it deals 6.3sec to 100km/h

@@KiwiCarLife They even have K24 TC Honda Brio. Brio is like K car smaller than Jazz;.~900kg Say 0.6-0.7 Bar boost. Very Linear, will give 300+bHp That will be crazy power to weight ratio n Super Fun car. Roll cage necessary to stiffen chassis else seam weld chassis

I used to feel the same. In fact, I sorta still do. The 3rd gen in RS form isn't all that proper styling wise and the mugen kit for it didn't really do it much justice in my opinion. I'd still own one though.

The torque performance give away one was white, I entered to win it, also it was K20Z4 from Civic Type R

I'm one of the owners of Torque Performance Developments! Yes we built this yellow one...and then we built our version of what we thought a Type R one would be , built it and gave it away for starship 🙌

I owned a manual GE8 before but I really hate the sitting position of it. The steering wheel is way too far and I can't get a comfortable driving position.

Yeah I totally get that, it's a bit weird. But I've just learned to live with it

@@KiwiCarLife At the strip mid 4's, open road mid/low 5's. I had a B18c swapped GA2 Honda City six years ago that done these times with similar power, It only made 126wkw N/A but 158wkw with a shot of nitrous. Done 13.2@105mph N/A & 12.7@115mph with nitrous but the car only weighed 860kg. Jazz/Fit probably 1050kg so most likely get same sort of times due to the 2.4L torque. The new owner done fresh B18c & a little more nitrous, puts out around 200wkw & has done 11.2sec @ 121mph at Meremere a few years back, gutted i don't have that car anymore for you to test drive. Would be good to see this Jazz hit the strip at NightWars, bring up the Accord.

@@Sk0die Power to weight plus it helps that the new owner knows how to launch to get those times, he get 1.6sec 60 foot times where as my pb was only a 2.2sec 60 foot but the new owner set it up for drag racing, striped it & fitted some ET street's to get that 11.2
