Not sure if anyone's mentioned this but as a biker, I can tell you that you dont need to clutch when up shifting, only down. If your gunning it, just take completely off the gas and shift up, then fully back on the gas. Engine will shift with minimal "roll off time" which will stop the chasis rocking back and forward as much when shifting. You wont damage the gears like a car gearbox so dont worry. Also dont put a stubby on it if you think its loud now unless you want your ears to bleed... id say you want to stiffen up that suspension a bit to improve handling and stop it rocking as much. If you can get a deal on a quickshifter, I think you'd really benefit with one as it will totally eliminate any instability when shifting as its basically a step better than shifting without clutching since you can shift with your foot flat and without clutch. Shifts so quick, theres no time for suspension to decompress ;)

When I was done with my Kawasaki 1400 cc(repro.196 HP) Smart Brabus based project,I changed the chain set up for a HD type belt set-up,so much smother,big racing front brake and rally suspension,and TOYO tires,kept the original muffler set-up after some cutting, for a daily ride,"boom-mat all over the bay,and worked hard on properly cooling systems, with extra heat extractor fans,and the bike oil cooling system,heat sensors,bottom scoops,discret louvers,when looking at it,you cannot tell it has been swapped.......Entire interior has been covered with "dyna-mat"and light black carpet,custom rally seats,all instrumentation and gear box are off course from the bike,It's pretty quiet some how if I drive normally but when putting my foot in, on mountain back roads,it's really a torque"monster"just like it's donor.....!!!!!

Ricky I'm not sure what camera you're using but when you're doing those interview elements the focus is out too much. Either you're too close or you don't have decent Autofocus set (face tracking?). I think you're too close so the focus shifts to the background as it can't lock on to the face. Watch you're distance man, the videos are nice but being let down by watching an out of focus face for the entire interview shots is tarnishing the otherwise slick video. Canon have awesome face tracking in fact their dual pixel autofocus is the best out there. Sorry man I'm coming from a photographer/videographer point of view where focus is critical. Love the car, the chap and again your video. Hope you don't mind the constructive criticism. Also at 11:39 you can see two major dirty sensor spots which are showing up in the video left and top right.

I have a Smart for two which has lowered suspension, Brabus exhaust, wide wheels, paddle shifts and has been on the dyno producing 132hp. I have had several 911’s (993) Ferrari 355, BM’s, Mercs, Lotus and I like the Smart two the best
