Typewriter Listing: When you test typewriters for listing do you use and then include a pangram photo, like: “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"? That’s the 1 we learned back in the1970s for testing typewriters and keyboards, to show a sentence that contains all the letters of the alphabet. Including a photo in the listing shows that all the prime keys function and align properly and it doesn’t take too much extra to do. 😉

I'm glad you brought it up reference the postage increase at 1lb. I noticed it on Monday. They made 1 lb its own category. So rates from DE to CA is 6.66, 8.44, 9.17 for rates 15oz, 16oz & 17oz. Big difference for only a 2oz jump! OUCH!! That's going to hurt my West Coast sales big-time and can only hope that states close to DE will buy. Looks like it's time to move to Missouri with my sister! LOL

If you choose the correct category it should just show up as a shipping option when you assign the shipping in the listing as long as it’s not over a $20 price.

15 Ounce eBay Rate: it has to do with the new USPS shipping table. To deal with this oddity, eBay needs to have Pitney Bowes (or whoever does this for eBay) change eBay’s shipping label page to accept a decimal above 15 (to 15.999) the way The Pirates have their software set, so they don’t keep dinging eBay Sellers. Small detail maybe, but it shows a lack of adult supervision over at eBay. Now that the eBay community is aware of this, how long will it take eBay to deal with it.

What does your label say when you print the label at 15.9 ounces? If it says 15 ounces and your package is over that I wonder if the PO is going to hit you with additional cost. They should not but I would not be surprised if they did. Moot point if the label actually says 15.9 ounces.

I was really surprised at the cost of your stickers. At that quantity I would expect a 3" x 3" to be around 30 or 40 cents a piece before taxes and shipping, with the higher end of that being small businesses or higher quality vinyl.
