This short takes a look at the Vosteed Mini Psyop. I believe this is a MUCH better EDC knife than the Benchmade Mini Bugout!!

@@JohnDoe-zb7dz I've never had to send one back but got a pocket replaced for free no questions asked. People trash the axis lock but my 940-2 has a Fantastic detent! My bugout on the other hand is abysmal at best.

I own a regular mini bugoit that I got for. 80$. Love that thing to death. Can imagine spending more than 80$ so 200+ sounds outrageous. Nice showcase I’ll be checking this out in the future

The S90v and carbon fiber one is awesome but so is the damasteel and titanium one. The gold class is great also…. I have too many bugouts

I absolutely love my vosteed racoon. Killer knife for 60$ and the 14c28 takes a tremendous edge. I will say that the one downfall of the knife is no back spacers (which means the edge can get marred if you have anything loose in your pocket) and the spring isn't adequate enough for a detent. It is the only knife that has ever opened up in my pocket and cut me. Recently picked up a used pm2 (my second) to supplement my current edc rotation.

I suppose the price matters a bit but the bugout has a longer blade at a lower weight and also a more neutral shape. I wouldn't exactly say this "kills" it, but it does seem like good knife.

In a battle of mini’s this would beat out the sheepdog and nightshade, but in a fight which one takes the cake, the mini sheepdog button lock, or the mini nightshade??

I've got the s35vn carbon fiber mini nightshade and don't carry it because it feels CHEAPER in hand than my bugout (that i also don't carry for the same CHEAP feeling) carbon fiber is drastically overrated!

I think the CF mini nightshade feels well made, no flex or blade play and great action. I did get the titanium one as a gift and it feels more substantial

@georgelin8498 it doesn't help that mine came with the dullest edge I've ever received on a knife. Maybe after I put it on the hapstone it'll help change my mind.

Vosteed seems to have growing pains, pouring out new designs and variations. My Nightshade has a feather-light detent and the blade chipped in the first day of use. Their QC needs to be buttoned up. The Bugout is not a sexy knife, but it is the one that I carry the most. It is practically unnoticeable in my pocket until I need it.

The regular bugout is to small for me so mini anything is out the door. At least for me. Way tooooo many small knives

IMHO Benchmade is a company selling trash, run by idiots. There was nothing to kill. That being said, this thing is fantastic! It definitely fills the gap that benchmade was failing miserably at filling.
