As I am an old dinosaur I have just learned something. It seems you have a real community. I too lost my father when I was thirteen and it was truly terrible. To lose a parent at any age is terrible but a boy who is working his way through puberty needs his father more than at any other time. It's wonderful that you are all there for him. I'm friends with Scuti IRL from the Tetris community. He is not some kid who locks himself inside playing video games all day with no human interaction. He's really social, very intelligent, and a really sweet kid full of life and jokes and it's so nice just talking to him. Honestly, he's such a breath of fresh air and gives me hope for the future generations. So don't listen to some random news anchor who doesn't care about the story. In 13yrs that kid has accomplished something more monumental than that news anchor ever has.

It's not just that he got so deep he made it crash, he got so deep *and* knew how to make it crash. It technically can loop forever, but he was going for the first true kill screen, slightly missed it, and got a different true kill screen, but that still makes him the first person to do it. I know it isn't that big a difference to most people, but it wasn't like an unintentional crash, it was intentional.

She's one of those people who can't just let people enjoy the things they enjoy and are exceptionally good at. Most underrated part of this video is the last 5s where Lud talks about how when the boomers die and we take over so much will change. He’s right. The boomers are old and dumb and stuff that’s common sense to us is “politics” to them and requires debate. So much will be better when they’re gone. And they’re too biased to even understand what we mean. The world will be a better place in 30 years, and an even better place in 60, if we continue to disregard our boomer takes.

As a Tetris content creator who’s been active in the scene for years, I can tell you that this really upset both myself and the entirety of the Modern/Classic Tetris community, too. Thanks for covering the achievement and pushing back against the usual 'gaming stigma' thing. Its pretty amazing to see a video like this from such a large creator, and you were fairly accurate in your coverage of how we've gone from hypertapping to rolling. Man Ludwig, this is how we advance as a society. Someone shows the world that something is possible or true, then others continue to expand in ways the creator never thought of. Our society survives on the backs of giants. Things that look so simple to us, and common knowledge were once never known. From the Financial Sector to something as simple as cleaning products, we run because others found that first step on the path. This is why we spend so much on research into particle accelerators and dumb random research. Sometimes you find something that will slowly begin a change in a field of our lives.
