i think u couldn't catch it because u weren't using the cannon harpoon because it has much more power, as well as upgrading it a lot for more penetration. I think personally going back to the first gun was really not smart.

i recommend saving up for the catling harpoon, and while it may seem expensive, i was at the ocean cave when i bought it and it carried me all the way to the last region! (no spoilers 🗿) It can also demolish the bigger types like whalefish and fiendsharks

So, here is a tip. Save up for the Catling Harpoon, which can literally destroy the giant fish (Whale Shark, Fiendshark, Marlin). Though it s very expensive, it is good as hell. Don't forget to upgrade it aswell, because if it's not upgraded, you will have less chance to catch the giant fish. I have it upgraded to max level (there is a MK2 upgrade for it, which costs 4k parts). You can catch all the Glacial Area fish without upgrading the Catling Harpoon to MK2, upgrade it when you reached Catopia. Also, after you have bought the Catling Harpoon, buy the Power Suit skin. You will shoot 15% slower, but the good thing is you have immunity to Jellyfishes. When you reach Catopia, it is better to buy the Allien skin which makes fish that give you parts appear randomly (they appear normally at deep sea, or if there is a shipwreck near you). The part-fish also will give you some oxygen if you have the Allien skin equipped. Don't buy any harpoons that cost parts, expect the Catling one. Since the others are a lot worse than it (the other harpoon that costs 2k parts sucks a lot). So here. When you have the Allien skin and you reached Catopia, you should know it is the best place for farming coins (it contains almost every fish in the game). When the Allien skin is equipped, becomes the best place for farming coins and parts. Hope this guide thingy helped!

Your not finding the whale shark because it's in an area you haven't unlocked. It says in the letter that the whale shark is spotted in catopia which looms to be one of that last areas. Anyways awesome and amazing video. Can't wait to see more.

The problem you where having was the air consumption, and the special fish have quite a lot of hp, so keep upgrading and in no time you'll get it

The Big fish appears in the area the letter says! Catopia is a level your not at yet! The fish also appears around the island on the map! Also you can get more gears in the trophies tab, bottom right corner you get alot for level completions

Tip :- You can get free 900 parts from the download menu without even downloading the game it is simple you have to click on the burger thing and click on the game and click back there you got 300 parts you can get it three times the Bonus tip:- Sniper harpoon is one of the best Beggining harpoon then you can buy the saw harpoon, it is one of my favorite harpoon but the galting harpoon is the best in my opinion

Uhhm Blitz, you got a little Case of the Dumbs there. The Whale Sharks was spotted in Catopia the "last" Fishing Spot on the Map. So even with max Tank etc. you still wouldnt have found him.

I just got the catling harpoon and its so good it murders sunfishes in 1 - 2 shots :D

Make a video where you unlock all of the harpoons pls.

The bigger fish will show up in the background before it shows up on the main screen ( I think three times)

I recommend buying the catling if you want to catch some fast fish but if you want to catch some big fish I recommend buying meow cannon cause it can leteraly one shot the big fishes

I have played the game and I recommend you getting the catling gun and using all your money on the oxygen because even with my catling harpoon it still takes many hits to catch

You need a gun that has more penetration you can't use the starter gun to catch the big fish you have to switch your gun if you want the whale shark or the other shark you have to switch your gun.

If you want to catch the epic tier fish just wait the places you see a shadow of a fish in a maps if you unlock all the maps you are free to catch them All. Be patient to catch them and GET A GREATER EQUIPMENT NOT JUST THE LOW STATES.

Why didn't you use the cannon harpoon? It's a heavy hitter and it did deal a lot of dmg to big fish.

I’m probably wrong but if you don’t catch fish the waves don’t progress quickly enough so you’re not really saving oxygen by not doing anything, and the big shark probably come on late stages. Does this make sense?

Buy the trident. Before the mk2 it's stronger than the harpoon and the starter and has way less oxygen usages compared to big harpoon.

The reason that you couldn’t catch the whale is because you only used 10 bombs and I caught it using around 15 bombs. Plus I used the sniper harpoon because it can shoot really fast. Also remember to read where the whale or fiend shark is.
