I've been doing this thing where I randomly choose 3 uncleared expert levels, and then Twitch chatters vote for which one I play...

Just beat it using a much simpler way. You basically had the correct way around 18:30-19:00, and at 33:26 you said the right way explicitly (pretty much), pointing out the muncher lands behind the flagpole. You take damage to lose the fire flower but stay big on the last screen. Then, when you go through the key door and spin jump to break the blocks on the way down you DON'T kill the mole. With fire flower, your spin jump kills the mole and sends the muncher down, which you don't want. At the bottom you hit the secret block to climb back up the vine and just completely go over the top and fall next to the gate. Then, you can simply jump over the spikes and hit the finish. If the muncher falls on top of the spike, it's too high to jump over. If you don't kill the mole, you can jump over and finish there, without having to do any of the going back to previous screens and trying to get into the floating door with the clown car.

(Level creator here) this is almost the intended solution, but I meant for it to be more difficult to take damage, you weren't supposed to be able to climb the vine in front of the key door when you have a key but I implemented this poorly so you can cheese it. The intended solution (how I uploaded it) you have to go back to the beginning of the level just to use up the key (using pow in clown car to get back through the first pair of key doors) then go all the way back again to get another key. The path Ryu took is bait, i thought it would be too hard or annoying for anyone to actually complete it that way. It's not cheese, but I'm impressed he actually managed to finish that way. There is no way to hit the switch or use a p switch, those are just to throw you off.

Hmm I Think on the regular Way, you must Hit the Hidden Block youve found on 18:57 under the Blue Platform and Land on it at the end youve found, and jump than over the springs. Must be, because the other Block give you the way back, so it needs to go first there. Sorry for Bad english. Greets from Germany.

I think you would get a progressive power up cape if you get the first question block after the flower to hit the colored block. You don't need to be big Mario to get to the flower

I am enjoying these chat's choice videos! there's lots of opportunities to see cool levels, stupid levels, impossible levels, etc the guy in chat asking about hector repeatedly seemed out of line but i've been curious too. I saw someone reply that Hector went somewhere else when Tammy moved in. would make sense. I figure the same for korra

Couldn't he have not killed the mole and won from the right side? I'm assuming the muncher drops and lands on whatever is behind the goal at the peak jump height.

This absolutely works. I was thinking the same thing, logged in, tried it to see if it would work, and it did. The muncher makes it too high. Ryu even said once, what's the point of the muncher falling, and I immediately thought that

@@werefrogofassyria6609 With that logic, you could justify an optional autoplay function doing kaizo levels for you. It's nonsense. The level is a challenge for the player to overcome, from figuring out how to beat it to executing the moves.

Pretty sure the intended way is to use the secret vine block at the end, go over the top and land next to the gate, and simply jump through the gate. It's only too high to jump into if the munch falls onto the spike wall. You need to take damage and stay big but lose fire so when you spin jump you don't shoot fire and kill the mole. Then the muncher never drops, and you can go over the top and win. You avoid ever having to go back any screens, and I'm avoid all that middle stuff on the last screen
