Thankfully still under warranty so it was FREE and yes the new tires are awesome no more getting stuck

Your harmonic balancer helps take the vibrations out of the crankshaft from the explosions happening to move the cylinders and if your balancer falls off or becomes loose you have to replace your crankshaft as well or it will snap your crankshaft

Yeah bad news thought it was just the rubber bushing but the crankshaft is bad too

Yeah don't believe it's supposed to move around like that. Should just spin round and round to balance the crankshaft.

I hate to be the bearer of tragic news, my dear neighbors one state below....but the way that harmonic balancer is slopping all around looks tragically similar to the way my old 4440 looked back in 08 when the front main bearing and seal flew all to Hades and back. To make a long story short, when I found out the cost of rebuilding a 28 year old 466 engine with almost 17,000 hours, I was fortunate enough to find a very good deal on a 5 year old 8420.
