I love how the maid's quarters has such a private entrance so she can sneak out when needed! Every maid needs that kind of privacy.

I don't get the whole Patreon thing. What possible "perks" are you providing people that would make them want to pay for a subscription? Whatever it is, you seem to have done perplexingly well with it, judging from many of your other video. Re: this particular video, you are showing some homes now that I would be interested in buying if I were going to assume residency in Mexico. QRoo Paul, you and Maddie, and some others on KZfaq--which until two months ago I hardly ever bothered with--have changed my understanding of Mexico 180°. I really thought you'd be taking your life in your hands to cross that border. That's the impression I got from the news and from someone who once told me the chances are good that you'd be kidnapped and ransomed if you crossed it. Now I find myself contemplating a move to Mexico as a retiree. What a difference a little information makes.

I live in California and my home is $600k and I live in the ghetto 😂 a nice house in a nice community is above 1 million dollars here in San Diego, California. So you must be a millionaire or try to be in order to buy a house 😢 My husband and I will buy a nice $70k RV and travel the continent after he retires. See where we end up 😁 the Mexican border is no longer an option as house are as expensive as in the United States.

Dual inverters help a lot. After installing them, and switching all halogen bulbs for LED, my electricity bill dropped by about 70%. Well worth it!

House is built like a fortress, with lots of security. Those are electrified fences. It leads me to believe crime is a substantial concern there.

Narrow stairs, often steep, no hand rails or guard rails. The best places fall short on the important details. I see this all over Mexico.

The hallways look narrow but I'm sure they aren't. This is a house for someone younger and without disabilities with so many stairs but a beautiful home.
